Williams smiled warmly at Bella and looked at the others. Then his eyes landed on the King and the Queen. He walked forward and went to stand infront of them and went on one knee. " Your Majesty, my queen. I spoke with Bella and she is willing to wait for me not only three but thirteen years, if I promise to come back for her."
" She had even said, I can have as many wives or Concubines as I like and she will not have any complaints regarding that." Williams paused at this, both the King and the Queen went stiff. He then continued smiling, " I will promise on my honor as a man that, I will be faithful to her. She will be the only one in my life. Atleast till we are together, is that ok for you, Bel?" Williams asked turning towards Bella. Everyone laughed heartily including Bella, King and the Queen at Williams cheekiness.
"I had given her my promise to take her with me to my home once I come back from my travels. I seek both your blessings to fulfill my promise."
The King held Williams by his arms and made him stand. He noticed that Williams was infact taller than him. Like a solid tree, which can definitely shelter her daughter and protect her no matter how strong the wind blew or how har the rain hits.
" My blessings. Our blessings will always be there for both of you my dears. Travel happily and comeback safely. We all will be waiting for you here." King Charles patted and hughed Williams. Then the Queen also hughed him with joy.
Everyone applauded happily and after a round of congratulating and hugging the new couple, they said their goodbyes to the King and the Queen, and started towards Master Remus's house to pick up Daisy.
---------------------------------
A similar kind of discussion had taken place at Master Remus's place. Remus unable to control his curiosity at last, asked Daisy the matter which was bothering him since more than an year now.
"Daisy dear, do you like Alan?" Remus asked Daisy.
"Yes grandpa, who won't like Al? He is such a sweet person. He looks after all of us so well. He is like the big brother of our whole group."
"I don't mean in that way, my dear. Do you have any feelings towards him or anyone else for that matter?"
Daisy was silent for a few seconds, her head bowed. "If you do like someone, don't hide it from me dear. I might be able to help you if you do."
She looked at her grandfather in shock and embarrassment. Remas had a genuine smile on his face. She took a deep breath and said. "Grandpa, I do like Chris, But I am afraid of the rejection, grandpa. They all have accomplished so much in their life and I am a nobody in that aspect. I am also afraid what will he think when he finds out that I am not your actual granddaughter but adapted one." Tears started to flow sliently from Daisy's eyes.
Remus patted her head warmly. "No matter what, my child, you are my granddaughter. And I am positive that my disciples are not someone who judge others by their birth or social status."
The next morning, everyone came to Master Remus's house. Once everyone entered, Remus looked at Daisy, who was looking slightly dejected and took a deep breath.
"Lads, before you start the journey, I would like you all to know the truth about Daisy." Remus started.
"Don't bother Master Remus, they all know about it. And trust me, they don't give a damn about it." Harry waved his arms in a dismissive wave.
Remus and Daisy were shocked. "When....." Remus was unable to complete the sentence.
"Before we met you Master Remus, I had studied under Master Stan, remember? He had informed that you didn't married and had dedicated your life for the craft itself.
"And when you introduced Daisy to us as your granddaughter, We knew she was not your granddaughter by blood." Alan explained. Daisy started to sob.
Alan walked forward and ruffled her hair. "Silly girl, who cares about who you were? We only cares about our Daisy. Whom we know as a lovely, caring and honest young lady. And as you already know, we all are an adapted family here. Blood is not what makes us brothers. Its the heart, the loyalty and the belief we have in each other that makes us a family."
Daisy hugged Alan and sobbed hard for sometime. Once she felt better she let go of him and looked at the others, " I am sorry everyone, I never intended to keep it a secret."
Everyone came to her with a smile and hugged her. When Chris hugged her, she felt like a thunderbolt passing through her body.
"Chris, do you like Daisy?" Bella who knew about her friends inner feelings ask out loud. Chris and Daisy got seperated so fast that it looked comical and everyone started to laugh.
Chris looked at Bella and then at Daisy then at others. He was speachless at the expression of others. Everyone understood the meaning of Bella, when she asked the question to Chris.
Chris sighed and looked at Daisy. "Do you have any feeligs towards me Daisy?"
"Yes Chris, I like you. I am in love with you since an year, but never had the courage to express it." Daisy looked down, unable to meet his eyes.
"I never had any other feelings towards you, other than of a good friend Daisy."
Daisy's face fell and even Remus felt a pang in his heart for his granddaughter.
"Don't feel bad," He then ruffled her hair with a warm smile. "I am not rejecting your feelings Daisy. I am truely blessed that a kind hearted girl like you loves someone like me. Lets see what happens and as you know, I am also going on a journey and I am a Healer and will be dedicating most of my time towards healing. You might not have the same feelings when you see me working in that environment.
I promise to try and see if I can develop the feelings towards you Daisy. As you know, feelings should come naturally. He hugged her again and then let her go.
Remus felt content with Chris's words. " If that happens, you will have my blessings my children."
After that, Daisy felt much better than what she had initially thought. And after saying their goodbyes to Master Remus, they started their journey. A journey that would change their life, bring them closer in many ways.
