"But that's only for now. We still don't know what Falcone has in store for the Shadow Dancer Alliance. It could be a biological bomb that takes Gotham with it."
Cindy held out the bottle and toasted him, sighing that if he was after Gordon for Batman, he was probably planning to wipe himself out with everyone else.
Ten years ago, Gotham was his city; ten years later, it was the crazy ones'. Falcone had every reason to go berserk, and the gangster city he'd spent decades painstakingly building was gone.
He's old, and he doesn't have those decades left to rebuild the dark order, so taking his own city with him before he dies makes perfect lunatic logic.
As for why drag on the League of Assassins? That's because Lei Xiao Gu thinks Gotham is the source of evil, and the League of Assassins has always wanted to destroy Gotham, but bats stopped it.
Now that the Bat is gone, both Falcone and Lexiao have a chance, but there's only one Gotham. Who's gonna destroy it?
Although the purpose is the same, but the two ideas are completely different, one is the underworld emperor, the other is the ninja master, not the same person at all.
There is a logical conflict between the two.
Of course, so far there is no evidence to support this theory, and Cindy doesn't say these words. They are just alternatives in her mind.
"We can't get in before the ninjas do, so the only way to do that is to go out there and lay low in the area, and as soon as the ninjas get in, we follow them, so that we can react to whatever's going on."
Eugene also laughs wryly and toasts with her, a plan that wasn't a plan.
"I hope Talia is the one with the Shadow dancer, and she's the only one with any sense. Otherwise, even if Falcone is taken out, we'll have a fight with the Shadow dancer."
Cindyton took a few gulps, the golden liquid running down her white neck, and with a satisfied sweep of her mouth she threw the bottle away and expressed her concern.
Eugene was thinking the same thing. If the ninjas had been ordered to exterminate the living, they would have killed every vagrant in Indian Hill, let alone Gordon.
But who knows what the future holds? Only one step at a time, even if it is really Talia to come, want her to change her mind, must be the first to call again.
You need to prove your honor and determination through a duel with the leader, the League of Assassins values this, let her respect your will, it is possible to change the order for you, otherwise it will usher in endless assassination.
If you need to face that many assassins, it's best to have someone dedicated to protecting the computer experts.
"It would be nice to have a few helpers, the reliable kind, any of your mercenary friends in Gotham?" "Eugene asked her.
"Ah, mercenaries don't have any friends. It's all business."
Cindy sniffed. She couldn't remember anyone she knew here to work with. She could stab someone in the back for money, they could too.
Eugene looked at her helplessly. The woman was...
"You have offended all your business partners. No wonder your business is getting narrower and narrower. Don't you know how to catch big fish in the long run?"
"That depends on what kind of fish it is. Even if they catch it, it's an octopus. I don't like it." Cindy looks like a dead pig is not afraid of hot water. What can you do with the past?
"Alas... Never mind, in our corner, there's a new mercenary in Gotham, codenamed Silence sience, ever hear of it?"
Eugene gives up arguing with her. Everyone has their own ideas. Maybe Cindy would prefer to do business that way. He likes to be free himself, so he doesn't want to interfere with her.
Instead, Eugene remembered a new person in the comics, a black woman code-named Silence, an assault expert, a master of hot weapons, good at blasting.
The point is that she, like Deathstroke, is very contractual and will not give up on a mission as long as the money is in place.
Cindy recalls and shakes her head: "Either the person you're talking about doesn't exist, or she's so unknown. I don't know how you're doing on your side, but here on Earth, I'm the first person people think of when they talk about mercenaries. Don't you think so? Barbara?"
Barbara sat in her little wheelchair, listening to Eugene and Cindy's conversation. What's your side and our side? What earth?
Barbara was stunned when she heard Cindy talking to her, but this was taken as a tacit acknowledgment by Cindy, who proudly squared her shoulders toward Eugene.
"Ms. Siva," she said. Eugene didn't mind her running into people with the ball either, just turning away and saying the name.
Cindy was a little wilted. Siva was considered the world's strongest assassin. She wasn't originally called that. Siva was the name of a Hindu goddess, and because she was so strong, people used the word "godlike" to describe her fighting skills.
Eugene had read DC's official TRPG rule book, and Batman and the Copper Tiger were at 14, Deathstroke was at 15, and Siva was at 16.
The 16 point is explained in the rule book as: Cosmic level superpowers.
There is no other mortal who can cultivate his fighting skills to the cosmic level. Even though it's just TRPG and it's a game, there's something to be said about it from the side.
"She's the assassin, we're the killers, it's different..." Cindy made excuses, but turned away guiltily.
There was some truth in what she was saying, because Deathstroke's assassinations were usually carried out with great fanfare, with swords or direct machine gun fire, with the help of modern weapons.
Ms. Siva, on the other hand, prefers to kill with her bare hands, and she kills silently with a single stroke or finger.
"in the shadows of this world, there are people who are just as strong or stronger than Siva, like Aikido Master Saar, Siva's teacher Master Otomo, Master Hwang, father of the Tweve Brothers in Sik, an old Japanese man code-named Master sennsei, and maybe others I don't know about."
Eugene also sighed, the water in the comic world is too deep, his current strength, should be similar to the death knell, but can not give him too much to rely on.
These people are just fighting masters, super powers are not even counted.
He must find his own way to become strong, just fighting and guns, not enough.
Cindy shared his grief, for she had never even heard of anyone except Master Otomo, and now wished they did not exist in their world.
In reality, however, all of these people are supervillains, and their existence in the dark multiverse is inevitable.
"Okay, just saying, most of these guys are in Asia. Just be careful when you go there. We have work to do."
Eugene was the first to get out of this silence. He just clarified his future goals. He may not be a match for those people now, but he will certainly be different later.
A strong opponent only motivated him more, not discouraged him.
"Also right, we still have a little time before the Shadow Dancer League arrives and we should take in some energy to prepare for the next fight." Cindy agreed with him, and it gave her the idea of becoming stronger.
There used to be only one Siwa lady on the surface, but now there are a bunch of strong fighters behind the scenes. How can she bear it when she is not willing to admit defeat? She has decided that if she survives this time, she will find a quiet place to practice her fighting skills.
She can still get a job, though, using guns.
She could not find help now, so she might as well eat first, for it was a long night.
As Cindy descends the stairs, presumably to raid Wayne's mansion, Eugene looks at a dazed Barbara and whispers to her:
"Use this system to find out for me the whereabouts of Briesweyn and her housekeeper, Alfred."
Barbara is immediately alarmed that a mercenary asking about the whereabouts of Gotham's most famous rich man is not a good thing.
"What do you want?
"Nothing, just trying to get some new clients. As you heard, Cindy's been having a hard time with business."
"She must be up to some bad business. I'm not going to help you." With that, the little girl turned her wheelchair and glided away.
Eugene smiles. It's Gordon's daughter. She spins away, but the system is still on and her laptop is still plugged in.
It's like Gordon. I don't see him. He just doesn't exist.
She knew so much about dark things now, and Bliss was too rich for mercenaries to go against a super-rich man without being paid.
Eugene looked at her back. Perhaps after seeing the darkness, she too would grow accustomed to the power of darkness and mature completely.
