As if my day couldn't get any worse.

“I am not, going to be boarding the school!”

David winced at my attack, clearly uncomfortable.

“What, five days a week isn't enough, now you want me to go 247?”

Blow after blow, David remained quiet, either from fear or just unsure. I'm pretty sure its the first one.

“Ms Vail, you were late to class-”

“It's my first day! How the hell was I to know where my Uber was taking me? Maybe if you put your school on the map, I'd find my way.” I screeched, pulling my hair in frustration.

“That's not the point.” He sighed tiredly, tapping a file in front of him with an expensive looking pen.

“Without any means of transportation, I'm afraid you may have to board the school for the time being,”
