Tai Bàoli continued watching dozens of people fight, they all seemed to be Viscera Training or lower, and even when Tai Bàoli had been watching the Viscera Training matches he didn't think he had any competition.
There were some Viscera Training individuals that caught his eye, but not because they'd be stronger than him. But because they seemed really haughty when they fought.
They were Seung Duang and Tian'Jun Jun both of which were Viscera Training Stage and were the two people Tai Bàoli had seen arguing with both Jiang Giang and Guan Feng. Tai Bàoli was in the same stage as them now which made him confident he could fight them, but he knew just from the conversation that they had with Guan Feng and Jiang Giang that they were a great clan of some kind.
Tai Bàoli had been learning a decent amount about different clans and the status of everything. After Jiang Giang attacked him he was quite motivated to figure out why.
From what Tai Bàoli found out that there were 6 great clans and dozens of lesser clans, all of which usually had their own techniques. But because of all the different Sects strengths a lot of clans sent their children out to learn from a specific sect and some even had certain sects as a backing.
Even The Hidden Mountain Tiger Sect was backing the Jin Clan. As seen by the fact that the sect master of the Hidden Mountain Tiger Sect was Huang Jin. With his research he had found out most of the main techniques of each great clan as it wasn't quite hidden.
Of course the Giang clan had the Great Eagle Claw, which even with its sub par name was still one of the strongest and most versatile techniques of the clan, it could be used with legs or arms, and provided a piercing effect on the attacks as well as provided the user with immense speed and strength like a Great Eagle.
As for the Duang Clan and Jun Clan they had very different techniques, The Duang Clan had the Golden Body Technique, and the Jun Clan had the Divine Thunder Technique, both of which had much more domineering names then the Giang Clans main technique but yet somehow the Giang still stayed in the top 6 clans.
Of course if your clan was part of the great clans it wouldn't be affected by the name of your techniques, just the strength. So the Giang Clans techniques were probably strong.
As for the Duang Clans Golden Body Technique, It turned the users skin to solid gold boosting their strength and defense phenomenally. Tai Bàoli had watched Seung Duang fight with another Viscera Training Stage Disciple who had been in the sect for 1 year and 2 and a half months. Yet it was like the other disciple was born to lose, every attack he used was ineffective against Seung Duang and Seung Duang simply grabbed the other disciple and threw him out of the small arena platform.
It was quite outstanding Tai Bàoli wondered how his Bears hide technique would fare against the golden body technique. Of course Tai Bàoli also understood there was a fundamental difference between the technique that Body Refining Realm cultivators could learn, and those Qi Gathering Realm cultivators could learn. The real Qi Gathering Realm Golden Body Technique was probably extraordinarily stronger than he could imagine.
As for the Jun Clans Divine Thunder Technique, it was a highly offensive technique. It was one of the few almost magical techniques Tai Bàoli had ever seen. It was like members of the Jun Clan could summon lightning and use it to attack.
Tian'Jun Jun had fought a flesh training disciple and had instantaneously appeared next to them in a flash of lightning and defeated them similar to how Tai Bàoli had done. It was quite spectacular.
Thankfully after multiple matches Tai Bàoli never had to fight either of them, however he did finally meet another Viscera Training Stage Disciple.
Tai Bàoli wasn't upset about meeting a Viscera Training Stage Disciple as he knew his system would give him even more experience, so far he'd have gained 10 experience, but the new mission screen that popped up made him excited.

Tai Bàoli was truly excited, he believed he'd get a huge amount of experience during this tournament and he couldn't wait. His strength was going to sky rocket. He'd immediately jump to the platform when his name was called.
Elder Xian: "You both know the rules, Begin the introductions."
Tai Bàoli: "Tai Bàoli, Viscera Training Stage, disciple for 2 and a half months."
Kuang Jiu: "Kuang Jiu, Viscera Training Stage, Disciple for 1 year and 2 and a half months."
It would be at that moment Tai Bàoli would be able to see the screen of Kuang Jiu

Tai Bàoli was still smiling boldly, he felt even if he didn't know Kuang Jiu's techniques that it wouldn't affect how fast Tai Bàoli won.
Kuang Jiu: "Hmph, stop smiling. You cannot win today, I have over a year's experience over you."
Kuang Jiu proceeded to take a rather bold mixed martial arts stance that Tai Bàoli had never seen before. However Tai Bàoli simply stood straight up as tall as a mountain. He was unbothered by Kuang Jiu's provocations.
Elder Xian: "Begin!"
Tai Bàoli immediately utilized the Esoteric Ghost Steps at Mid strength to appear next to Kuang Jiu, even with Kuang Jiu's dexterity it was barely able to keep up with the speed of Tai Bàoli's esoteric ghost steps. Tai Bàoli punched forward with extreme speed however before he could hit Kuang Jiu, he'd watch as Kuang Jiu's entire body engulfed in iridescent Red flames.
Tai Bàoli was astonished and quickly retracted his punch. And before Tai Bàoli could think of his next move Kuang Jiu had begun viciously lashing out with a plethora of jumping knees and kicks. Tai Bàoli was flustered, he even began using the esoteric ghost steps at High mastery just to avoid the kicks of Kuang Jiu.
("Damn, what do I do? if I attack him I'll take damage. I could attack him with my warhammer but I'd be showing off one of my trump cards way too early. Maybe I will exhaust him out? it must take an extreme toll on the body to utilize Qi in such a way while only having such a miniscule amount as a Viscera Training Stage individual. Yea that should work")
And so justly Tai Bàoli continued dodging, and never stopped. Kuang Jiu must have tried every kick and knee he knew, eventually he had degraded to even attempting punches and grabs just to touch Tai Bàoli at all, unfortunately this went on for 3 minutes where Tai Bàoli began smiling while looking at Kuang Jiu's updated screen.

Kuang Jiu could barely be considered a strength training stage disciple after the three minutes he'd have had Fiery Fury in use.
And soon Tai Bàoli's assumption came true, Kuang Jiu's technique fizzled out, and Kuang Jiu began breathing heavy and heaving and huffing for air, he was clearly exhausted and it was probably made worse by the side effects of his technique.
Tai Bàoli simply zoomed forward in a blitz and knocked him unconscious the same way he had done to all his other opponents.
Elder Xian: "Winner, Tai Bàoli!"
Elder Xian held Tai Bàoli's hand up while announcing him as the winner.
As Tai Bàoli came down from the arena he'd see Seung Duang come over and scowl in his direction before speaking
Seung Duang: "Hmph, if you think speed is enough to go further in this competition you are sorely mistaken. I know your speed cant even keep up with Tia'Jun Jun, and you clearly have no offensive means, so if you meet me or him you lose. Have fun being worse then us."
Seung Duang then stormed off towards the arena it was his match next.
