Chapter six

Standing outside the doctor's office cleve has grown tired of waiting.

As though doctor stone has heard him pacing up and down she invites him in.

Stepping in its like the room temperature had dropped.The air is tense making him wonder what had transpired in his absence.

Aina looks sullen qith puffy eyes ruined makeup and unkempt hair.

Looking at her one would think she had been involved in a physical brawl.on the other hand doctor stone as usual looks composed and calm.Its like she doesnt feel the oppressing air between them.

"Uuumm is..is everything alright?"he starts

Attempting to break the iceness in the air

"Mr.Cleve please have seat".the seriousness in her voice cannot go unnoticed.

Taking the seat close to his fiancee he wraps his hand around her shoulders comfortingly.

"How did the physical examination go?"

Doctor stone feels bad for using such a lame excuse to get him out but she had been left with no option.

"Mr cleve,"

Aina freezes,she gives her the puppy look as though her life is on the line.

Doctor stone does not pay attention to her

"After examining your fiance the state of her uterus cannot hold another pregnancy just as Doctor Jones had informed you earlier on.

If you really want to be parents,i would advice you to consider using a surrogate for that".

It does not come as a surprise to them as much as they were still hopeful that maybe Miadele qould be able to offer any treatment to make her uterus whole again.

A look of disappointment sweeps across cleve's face but he masks it in time however this doesn't escape the hawk eyed doctor.

Excusing herself she gives them ample time to discuss the matter.

Though hesistant about surrogacy before Aina supports it fully which amazes cleve on what caused the changes in her.

After some time the doctor walks in with brochures and booklets.

Handing each one,she takes them step by step on what IVF is what it entails and everything to do about surrogacy.

After telling them the dos and the donts prior to the procedure they leave with the assignement of identifying  a surrogate.

This doesn't sit well with cleves family.as much as they would want to hide the development from them it cannot be possible as his grandmother has her ways of getting such information.

Gathered at the round family table is the lioness madam cleve otherwise well known as hitler,cleves aunt-Maria who wants her son to take cleve's place her husband who always follows her around.he is like her lap dog.

Their lovestory dates back to their high school days.It has always been like this since who knows when.wTaking her notes,carrying her bag,returning her books to the library and many more.He was at her peck and call.

Though people termed him her slave,Maria treated him well and even helped his family members escape the poverty.Thus he promised to serve her and be with her as long as she wanted him, no matter what people.
