Another lose

In the doctor's office Cleve can be seen pacing up and down.

Aina on the other hand is curled to a foetal position.

Chin resting  on her curled up legs whimpering like a puppy that has been beaten by rain.

She has been crying for the past thirty or so minutes.

Cleve who had initially been coaxing her now looks short of what to say or do.

He is exhausted,emotionally psychologically even physically.

Who says a man does not feel pain when it comes to losing of the highly anticipated baby.

His eyes look haggard from exhaustion and lack of enough sleep.

They have been through this for quiet some time now and the story is getting  like a sunday school rhyme.

This is the third time that it is happening.

They are both young and health or that is what he thinks so how can they be losing each and every pregnancy they have managed to conceive.

Turning to look at Aina he wonders whether she is hiding anything from him.

But from what he knows and his observation she  really wants to be a mother so he shakes of the doubt that seems to be creeping to his mind more so the hospital belongs to his family so  he doctor wouldn't have the guts to change the medical tests they both did or hide anything from him.

Aina looks pitiful enough to be taxed any emotional stress or some family drama.He wonders how his family's reaction will be this time round.

He does not want to hurt her but will his family let her be?

A family like his is known to value heirs.

Shaking his head he knows that this time round things are going to get a little bit shaky and tough for their relationship.

Walking over to her,he places his hand on her slender shoulders and squeezes them reassuring her that they are in this together.

Aina can't help but throw herself into his arms.He protectively embraces her giving her the warmth and comfort she is craving for.

"Cle-cleve i have dissapointed you again.I am so useless.

I cannot if keep a mere foetus safe.Cleve i am so sorry,so sorry.."

Her words are like a knife that stabs cleves heart.Hugging her tightly he whisphers sweet nothings to her ears.

He cant help but feel protective over her.

"Dony say tha honey,i am always here,you have me no matter what.

The misarriage wasnt your mistake maybe it isnt the right time yet but all in all know that i am always by your side and nothing is going to change that.

"But your family,aunt,uncle and grandma have been looking foward to this baby.what are we going to do.what if they say i am not good enough for you.what if they reject me as their daughter-in-law?

"They wouldnt dare.in my heart you are already my wife.No lady is going to be a suitable math for me if not you.And if they happen to sow discord between us then that will be the end of me being their child.

Smiling that is all she needed to confirm his stand and the position she occupies in his heart.

Truly nobody can understand the depth of a woman's heart.
