Universal Champion

Shazam! That’s all I have to say… But fr the novel is about a normal dud getting powers in the marvel verse and having to protect it from not only the random universe ending threats but also some unknown foes that followed him from outside the universe. Btw MC is not some edge lord fucking every bipedal in a 100 kilometer area (the spells are gonna be exaggerated and cringe cuz why not who doesn’t wanna look cool)

First

I woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for air. My heart was pounding so hard that I could feel it in my ears. I looked around, trying to get my bearings, but everything was hazy and indistinct. I couldn't remember where I was or how I got there.

Then, suddenly, it all came rushing back to me. The accident. The pain. The fear. I had been driving home from work when a car had swerved into my lane, hitting me head-on. I had tried to avoid it, but it was too late. The impact had sent me spinning out of control, and then everything had gone black.

But I wasn't dead. I was still alive, somehow. I looked down at my hands, flexing my fingers. They were still there, still real. I felt my face, my hair, my clothes. It was all real. But where was I?

I looked around again, trying to make sense of my surroundings. I was standing in the middle of a vast, open field, surrounded by rolling hills and green grass. In the distance, I could see a forest of tall trees, their leaves rustling in the breeze. It was a beautiful, peaceful place, but it was also strange and unfamiliar.

Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me. "Hello there," it said. I turned around to see a woman walking towards me. She was tall and slender, with long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. She wore a flowing white dress that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight.

"Who are you?" I asked, feeling a surge of fear and confusion.

"I am Lirien," she said, coming to a stop in front of me. "And you, my friend, are dead."

Her words hit me like a blow to the stomach. Dead? Was it possible? Was this some kind of afterlife? I looked at her, trying to find some hint of deception or malice in her eyes, but all I saw was kindness and compassion.

"I don't understand," I said, my voice trembling. "What's going to happen to me?"

"You are in the space between worlds," she said. "You have passed from your own world and into this one. It is a place of transition, where souls come to rest and prepare for their next journey."

I stared at her, trying to take it all in. It was so surreal, so impossible. But at the same time, it felt real. I could feel the grass beneath my feet, the sun on my skin, the wind in my hair. It was all so vivid and tangible.

"What do I do now?" I asked, feeling lost and helpless.

"You must rest and recover," she said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You have been through a great ordeal, and your soul needs time to heal. But you are not alone. There are others here, like you, who have passed from their own worlds. They found meaning and I believe you will too.

As she spoke, I felt a sense of comfort and reassurance wash over me. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. Maybe I could find a new purpose, a new life, in this strange and mysterious place.

"Thank you," I said, feeling a glimmer of hope. "Thank you for helping me."

Lirien smiled, her eyes sparkling. "It is my pleasure, my friend. Welcome to the space between worlds."

She then wore a sinister smile on her phase "and farewell"

I thought I heard it wrong as my body was abruptly thrown into the atmosphere and further beyond bursting through this bubble? That surrounded Liriens residence.

I found myself in an abyss not knowing what to think of this muttering the only words that can describe my predicament.

"Holy sh-"

Lirien continued standing with a relieved smirk on her face until a voice rang from behind her.

Disappointment flowed in with the masculine voice as he spoke in a reprimanding tone "You've done it now Lirien"
