Chapter Hundred and Four

I stood in front of the gate again, it hurts and pierces my heart whenever I remembered that was my daughter was there, it always feel to me as if she was in danger. I stood there not wanting to go back in there, I wanted to turn my back and go but at the same time I couldn't move my feet, I couldn't let myself try because my daughter was In there. My daughter was with some people who doesn't love her the only thing they had wanted was to win over her to show her levels and standard 

She was a poor helpless mother but that was going to change soon, they were going to see the other side of me, I took a deep breath before pressing the bell, I waited a few minutes later before the door was pulled open for me, I found my way inside the house this time there was no one around, I sigh in relief as I picked my way up to Sunny's room but when I pulled open the room there was no one around, I walked inside and warmed maybe she went to get something around the house just then she sighted a note on top of her daughter's bed. What could be this, she flipped it open, it was a note for her...

They wanted me to wait around in the house for a few hours, he knows that I was coming then why did he decide to take Sunny away. I paced around the room before sitting back on the bed, this was unfair, how could he be so heartless, Sunny was my daughter for crying out loud, why was I being treated this way, I feel like smashing something to the walk but... I don't have to keep scaring my daughter with my attitude, I leaned back and waited for what seemed like an hour before I heard car horns outside the house.

I moved to feet to move outside, just the thought of seeing my daughter made me really excited, I rushed out to see the car already parked. I waited for my daughter to come out, Immediately she sighted me, I watched how her face lit up and she ran happily towards me, I opened my arms to welcome her. It feels really good having my daughter in my arms, I wanted to cry again, cry because things haven't gone the way I have wanted it to go, but no never will I cry in front of them. "Mummy, I have missed you so much". She said, I pulled her gently away to see my daughter's face with was beaming with a smile.

" I missed you, mum, I waited for you but you didn't come back, I waited for you the next" "Sorry baby, mum has been really busy but I'm here right? Isn't it what matters she nodded as she hugged me again. " come, I stood straight and looked at Tara staring angrily at me "You can't stop me from seeing my daughter, you don't have the right to do that you know more" I glared at her before taking my daughter with me. "What did you want to get? I asked turning to my daughter " Umm, I want Ice cream" she smiled "Okay, come let's go and get it then" I took her hand and headed towards the door. 

But the gateman stops me. "Mam, you can't take her with you". " Why? I have the right to e my daughter with me anywhere I want to". "You don't have such rights, Becca, we don't trust you". " She's my daughter and I'm going to take her with me and you're not going to stop me from doing that" I glared back at Sam and Tara who stood there. I took Sunny hand in mine and this time walked out of the gate without being stopped by anyone, this is my daughter and they don't have to tell me what and where to take my daughter. I boarded a taxi and we headed to the ice cream shop. "Yay, we're going to the Ice shop" Sunny smiled happily.

I remembered when I have to take my daughter with me without someone bothering or watching me like a thief but now, it wasn't the same. It feels as If I had lost my daughter as if I have don't have any right over her. I was going to pay him back for all the pain that he has caused me, I was going to make sure he feels the pain that I was passing through.  "Mummy, I thought we'll be heading to the other Ice cream shop" Sunny whines with her pout lips. "Why? Don't you want to come here". " you know my....I mean aunt Tara she used to take me to this place called Icecream fountain, they have all the Ice Cream you want in the world". "That's good but this is another ice cream shop, the Ice cream here is very sweet, you should try it out" she nodded and I took her hand, and led her inside.

The truth was I couldn't afford the type of Ice cream she wanted and this was what Tara and Sam wants, they wanted to prove and show me that they are better off in taking care of Sunny, they wanted me to look poor in front of my daughter and they were succeeding in doing just that. my daughter my daughter's hair as we waited for our Ice cream. "So tell me Sunny school" "I listen as she told me about her new friends the weekend travels with Sam, my throat tighten in hearing how happy Sunny was with him, this should not be this way, it shouldn't be true, this was all a lie a charade to steal her daughter away from him and he was succeeding in doing just that.
