Jane's Suspicion

It had been three days since Jane's return to Jack's house. But she has not been able to meet her husband. The only communication that Jack did was a short message, and that was Jane, asking how he was first.

Conversation between Jack and Jane:

Jane: When are you coming back?

Jack: It won't be long. I'll be back shortly. Get some rest, Jane.

Jane was staring at her phone screen. She winced as she reread Jack's message, who seemed unconcerned about the situation.

At that time, Jane was sitting in the living room, wearing a sleeveless nightgown and a white coat to reduce the chill. For some reason, the lonely dinner made Jane feel sad.

She sat on the sofa with her legs raised and bent. In her lap was a book she was reading. Suddenly, Jane's cell phone rang, causing her to close the book and reach for her cell phone.

At first, Jane thought it was Jack who called her. However, Selena's name is listed on the screen of her cellphone.
