Henry and Jane continued their intention to become husband and wife. A small church, where there is a priest who is ready to bless their love.

Henry has even prepared a pair of gold rings, which he will give to Jane.

When the Holy vows began to be spoken and promises began to come out of the mouths of Henry and Jane. At that time, their belief in becoming a husband and wife was even more certain than before.

Henry reassured Jane that after he spoke to his parents. Then he will make their relationship official, so they have nothing to fear anymore.

A short but satisfying vacation for Henry and Jane who are in love. The two of them came home late in the afternoon. Their hands clasped together as if to signify that they were ready to show everyone about their relationship.

"Henry? You're home?" Thomas Johnson asked his son and gave Jane a scornful look who was beside Henry.

"Yes, Father. I've gone home with Jane. I want to tell you two something about something. Namely, my relationship with Jane," said Henry a little nervously.

Henry still looked confident, unlike Jane who took a step back, looked down, and didn't dare look at Thomas or Meghan.

"My dear, what's wrong with you two? Why did you two go home all of a sudden? And what do you mean, your relationship with Jane?" asked Meghan, also curious. She also looked strangely at her attitude toward Jane hiding behind her son's body.

"Mother, father? I hope you are not angry with me and especially with Jane. It's not her fault because I asked her to take a vacation with me for these two days, "explained Henry.

Thomas who heard his son's words immediately straightened his body with a fierce face.

"Henry Johnson?! What did you just say? Are you aware of your words? What have you been doing together with that maid?" Thomas pointed furiously at Jane who was looking down in fear.

"Father, Mother? I told you not to blame Jane. I asked for it and just so you know how much I love Jane. At this time, the two of us have officially become husband and wife," Henry said loudly over his father's voice.

Meghan even covered her mouth with wide eyes, staring at her son could be so bold as telling the absurd truth. While Thomas immediately grabbed his son's collar, he felt like he wanted to punch his son in the face for doing something stupid.

"Just hit me, Dad. If it can make you satisfied! You continue to rule my life. Enough with all the rules you make!" Henry said with a defiant look.

He wasn't afraid of his father's hand that was already clenched into a fist and held high, ready to cut Henry's face right then and there.

Jane, who saw the father and son quarrel, couldn't just stay silent.

She immediately stood in front of Henry with her arms stretched out straight. Jane's head shook quickly and her gaze became sad.

"Mr. Thomas? Please forgive me. No, please forgive Henry. None of this is his fault. Please don't hurt him, we both love each other," she promised with tears in his eyes.

Thomas stared intently with vicious eyes. But Jane looked back at Thomas with tears because she could read Thomas's mind.

At first glance, there were thoughts of Thomas that scared Jane. Something bad could happen to the man she loved so much.

"You two!! Are you guys doing this on purpose!" Thomas had yet to calm his anger.

"And you!" Thomas pointed at Jane.

"You unprofitable servant! We raised you for years, and this is your payback to us!" Thomas was furious. He felt like he wanted to do something rude to Jane.

Henry immediately protected his lover. He grabbed both of Jane's shoulders and quickly turned her body.

"If you want to be angry. You can be angry with me, but not with my wife. After all, Jane and I are married. We are husband and wife, and you can't separate us anymore," Henry said with his chest puffed out, showing his sincerity.

"You!! How dare you go against your father!"

Thomas' hand was ready to give his best fist and aimed at his son's face. Less than a second, there was a loud "bug" sound, indicating that Thomas had punched his son in the face, making Henry stumble backward.

"Gosh, Henry!" Jane panicked and immediately helped her lover to stand up.

A bruise appeared on the side of Henry's face. The corner of Henry's lips hurt with a slight tear. Thomas used his strength because Henry's cheeks were red and slightly swollen.

"THOMAS!! STOP!!"

Meghan screamed hysterically. She immediately blocked her husband from killing his own son.

"Thomas, enough! Stop it! He is our son. You can't act like this," Megan reminded her husband, grabbing Thomas's arm.

"Can't you see it, Meghan! Our son has become a fool because of that woman. What he's done is an absolute disgrace to the Johnson family name! Where do you want to put my face!" Thomas was still furious, but Megan quickly cupped her husband's cheeks with the tears that kept flowing.

"Thomas, I beg you! We can find a way out, I beg of you, don't hurt my son. Please..." Megan said, seeing Thomas still wearing a furious face.

"I can't do it, Meghan! I can't! He has crossed the line!" Thomas shook his head quickly. He intended to approach Henry, who had just gotten up from his fall.

Meghan is too scared of her husband's anger. She immediately sat cross-legged in front of her husband holding Thomas' legs. Her tears continued to flow more and more.

"I beg you to be patient. Calm down. After all, he is our son. Don't do crazy things like this," Megan pleaded.

Henry and Jane looked sympathetically at Megan were on her knees in front of Thomas.

"Meghan! You shouldn't have done this! You can't beg like this just for that maid!" Thomas had tears in his eyes and he still looked at Jane with hatred.

When Jane and Thomas' gazes met. Jane could read the man's thoughts. His father-in-law absolutely hated her. There was no other positive thing that Jane could find in Thomas's mind.

"Mother? Get up quickly! You can't act like this," Henry said, walking up to Meghan and holding his mother's arms.

However, Meghan continued to plead by holding her husband's legs.

"No! I'm not going to wake up until your father says he won't hurt you again," Meghan sobbed.

Meanwhile, Jane, who could only be silent, stared in confusion and restlessness while squeezing the strongholds of her fingers.
