Daniel's Trap

Jane immediately stepped back. Suddenly, she was surprised to see the figure of Daniel, who already knew where the submarine was going to dock.

"Hi, Jane? Have you enjoyed the view of the sea below? Hmm… too romantic. I feel like getting so envious," said Daniel chuckling.

Daniel's gaze alternated between Jane and Jack, and before long several people appeared from behind Daniel's back. There were six people in black uniforms, their bodies burly with fierce-looking faces.

The six well-built men were holding onto something – it looked like a long stick with the tip emitting a flash of blue light.

Jack immediately took Jane's hand. He gripped Jane's hand so tightly as if he was afraid to lose Jane a second time.

"Jack? How can we escape? Are we going to get caught again?" asked Jane so sadly, it felt like she wanted to cry over her wasted efforts.
