"Zhong Wen, this is Chaofeng, the son of the Lin family in the capital, my master's younger brother," Nangong Ling introduced with a smile. "Chaofeng, this is Zhong Wen, the head chef of the Drifting Petal Palace that I mentioned to you."
"So, he's our palace sister's relative," Zhong Wen said with a grin. "Then, he's not an outsider. Chaofeng, you've come at the right time. Today, I've prepared a whole roasted lamb, and I was worried about not being able to finish it."
"Nice to meet you, Zhong," Lin Chaofeng said, surprised by Zhong Wen's youth compared to the middle-aged and greasy chef he had imagined.
"No need for formalities, just call me Zhong Wen," Zhong Wen said, turning his attention to Old Mr. Fu. "And who might this elderly gentleman be?"
"I'm just a servant of the Lin family, no need to pay me any mind," Old Mr. Fu said, smiling.
