Chapter 136

Atifa's pov:

Ammi had just returned from her work and was in her room, getting changed. Laying the dinner on the table quickly, I headed back to the room which I was sharing with Amira.

"Api look! I completed my work early today alhamdulillah! Now can I braid your hair?" Looking up from her notebook and pointing at it, Amira exclaimed in excitement.

Drying my hands with the towel hanging on the wall, I shook my head as a playful smile graced my lips. "Hmm… That's good, but I don't think my hair needs to be braided."

"Api don't lie! Look at your hair, they have come out of your bun." Scrunching up her face, Amira replied with a pout.

"Then I can make my bun again." I teased while biting my lips, trying to suppress my smile.

"No! I'm going to make a braid and that's it. And we are going to bake cakes tomorrow." She commanded bossily while shaking her head, a scowl adorning her face.
