Chapter 75

The chirping of birds and the warm sunlight shining through the window blinds forced him to open his eyes. The corner of his eye glanced at the clock on the wall that showed six in the morning. 

He immediately darted to the bathroom because he did not want to be late for the office. This morning he felt fresh. The aches in his body also disappeared when cold water began to wet the skin's surface.

In a situation like this, suddenly, the name Calista appears. 'How are you, baby? Are you okay? Can you sleep well?' These are the questions that are swirling in his mind. 

A sinister smile etched on his lips. 'Why should I think about it? She laughs freely with that stranger. She does not think me.'

He was sure that Calista didn't need him at all because someone else had already taken his place. Someone else who can make him happy.

"The proof is that she didn't contact me either. So it's true that she's happy without me."
