Meanwhile, Leonard was still standing behind Calista with his hands leaning on the side of the table, making Calista trapped in between.

A very close distance made them feel the roar of warm breath tickling along the nape of the neck. Not only did Calista feel hot and cold, but Leonard also felt the same way.

Leonard tied up Calista's hair. He was impatient to feel her smooth white skin quickly. He then sat on the chair opposite her, not wanting to lose control.

Feeling constantly being stared at so intensely, Calista lowered her gaze. She couldn't see into the depths of the black eyes that would only drag her to an increasingly fierce desire.

Not only did she feel something stir within her, but he also felt the same way even more.

Leonard had never bowed to a woman previously, but Calista's charm had succeeded in changing his world. His world was once filled with darkness and thorns.

Calista's charm has succeeded in bringing him to his knees until his nickname of the lady killer has been gone. He didn't even have a clue what made him so.

It was maybe because of Calista's principle that he didn't want to go beyond his limits. Previously, the women he dated before could be brought to bed to seek pleasure quickly, but Calista was different.

Who knew how long Leonard had been lost in his own thoughts, but it was clear that Calista's breath had brought him back to his senses.

"What are you thinking of?" Calista asked.

"It's nothing," Leonard replied, and then he glanced at the watch on his wrist.

Calista ate in a hurry, realising that it was getting late.

"Slow down, baby."

"But we'll be late for the office."

"You'll come with me, so who's going to make a fuss about it? Besides, you're the head of the company, and I don't think it's a problem if you're a few minutes late."

"That's unprofessional. My position is a mandate that must be guarded, not misused."

"Okay, Ms Calista."

'Huh, It's early morning, but she already lectured me. Why do I like her expressions like this? She looks even cuter when she's upset. I want to silence those luscious lips again.' Leonard thought.  

Calista constantly stared at Leonard with a longing that sent her a hot spark to pierce both eyes.

'Oh my gosh, how can I be a pervert like him? Wake up, Calista, be aware.' Calista warned herself in her heart.

"What's wrong, baby?" Leonard asked while sticking his finger on Calista's chin.

Calista shook her head.

"Do you want this, hum?"

Calista gasped when Leonard suddenly kissed her lips briefly.

"You want more?"

Calista shook her head as she was embarrassed to be caught having perverted thoughts.

At the same time, Leonard actually liked her shy attitude, especially her red cheeks.

"Then, continue your eating!"

"I am done," Calista replied

"But your food isn't finished yet."

"I'm full. Let's go."

Hearing that, Leonard didn't even stand up to go. His gaze scanned Calista's entire body, making her wonder if there could be something wrong with her make-up and clothes.

Not wanting to make Calista think otherwise, Leonard stretched out his fingers to grip her tiny fingers.

"There's nothing wrong with your clothes or make-up, but..."

"What?"

"You're just so beautiful this morning," said Leonard, making Calista blush.

Not wanting to be late for the office, Calista asked him to leave.

"I'll take my bag first."

"Okay, baby."

Right now, they were both in the car. Even though there wasn't much time left, Leonard was still driving the car at a moderate speed. Calista suggested increasing his pace, but he didn't care at all. Instead, he dragged her into his hug.

"It's not safe. You should focus on driving."

"Don't worry, baby. I'll take it slow."

"But we'll be late for work."

"I already said being late isn't a problem. I want to spend more time with you today."

"What do you mean?"

"Come on, baby, don't protest too much. Let's just enjoy our time."

Calista immediately got up from the hug.

"Increase your speed, or I'll get off here!" Calista snapped.

"Baby, please. This afternoon until the evening I will be out of the office more so this is our time now. Let's make the best of it."

"Differentiate between work and personal matters!"

Not wanting to argue anymore, Leonard finally increased his speed so that the car went very fast.

Shortly after, the car that took them away had arrived at the office parking lot.

Leonard glanced at the clock on his wrist and then turned to Calista.

"There's still 20 minutes. Come here, baby! Hug me."

"How's your wound?"

"Don't mind my wound. Just hug me."

"Come on!"

Leonard stopped Calista, who was about to walk first. Even though she refused to come along, it wasn't Leonard if he couldn't get what he wanted.

Now, the two of them walk side by side, and of course, this was a big question mark for other employees.

"Enjoy working, baby, and don't forget to eat out this afternoon," Leonard whispered.

Calista immediately stopped walking.

"Don't you have a meeting outside today until the afternoon?"

Without answering, Leonard just gave her a meaningful wink.

'OMG, so he lied to me? He always gets whatever he wants, but he is also charming.' Calista thought.

Her lips never stop smiling happily, remembering her lover's sweet treat treatment this morning.

At the same time, someone knocked on the door to her room.

"Come in!" Calista answered.

"What's wrong, Kia?"

"Shall we have lunch outside? I'm tired of the menu at this hotel. It's all old."

"Sorry, Kia, I already have an appointment. How about you ask Matius instead?"

"Who do you have an appointment with, hum? Must be your boyfriend, right?"

Calista just smiled, not wanting to continue the conversation. She then focused on the laptop screen in front of her.

Kiara's curiosity also made her unable to stop urging her to speak. Of course, she rewarded Kiara with a sharp glare.

"Kia, don't you have anything else to do but annoy me, huh? Better go back to your room!"

"Tell me first, who is your boyfie?"

"Kiara!"

"Come on, Calista, why should you be shy? We're friends, right?"

"I know we're friends, Kiara. But you don't have to know everything about me, including the most private things."

"What are you two talking about? You both look so serious."

Leonard's sudden arrival made the two women turn their heads simultaneously.

"You too, what are you doing in my room, huh?" Calista snapped.

"Please calm down, Calista. I need to talk to you about one of the employees from the CFO division committing fraud in this company." Leonard then sharpened his gaze on Kiara.

"If there's nothing more to talk about, please leave the room," Leonard asked Kiara.

Kiara immediately walked away from the room, leaving them two.
