When his alarm went off, Hades was already awake. As a matter of fact, he had been tossing and turning all night, restless from all the thoughts that were swirling around in his mind.
Persephone, he had hurt her a lot, and he didn't know what to do about it. He couldn't just waltz to Olympus university and apologize, the odds of her even leaving her dorm to speak with him were practically zero. And he couldn't call her either, for all he knew, she had probably tossed out the phone that he had bought her.
Then there was Minthe, the cunning nymph. Who did she think she was just walking back into his life like this, after stubbing his heart and getting married?! Where did she get off running Persephone off and laying claim on Hades?!
But again, regardless of how toxic Minthe was, there were some things she had brought to light that Hades knew were true. One of which was the kind of being Hades was, and because of that, did not deserve someone like Persephone.
