Entering the lively bar, filled with vibrant lights, a disco ball, and pulsating music, Selena heard Kayla's voice amidst the noise. Spotting her friend, she smiled and walked toward Kayla. They exchanged a warm hug upon reaching the table, and as they released, they took their seats opposite each other.

"Drinks on me tonight," Kayla declared cheerfully, prompting a smile from Selena.

Calling the waiter, Kayla ordered an expensive non-alcoholic vintage wine. "So, how was your day?" Kayla inquired, her eyes reflecting concern.

"It was so... I don't even know what to say," Selena replied, pausing to find the right words.

"Did anything happen at work today?" Kayla asked, her worry evident.
