Issue #1.5

" Hey jubilee, are you awake?"

Bling asked as she walked into Jubilee's room.

The woman suddenly stopped and held her hands to her mouth as she gasped in surprise at the sight before her.

" Aw, that's so cute."

Bling said as she watched the scene before her.

Jubilee, Shogo, and Justin had fallen asleep on the floor beside each other.

" Let me give you a hand little guy."

Bling said as she slid a blanket over the three and readjusted Shogo on his pillow.

" I'll leave you guys alone to your bonding time."

Bling said before leaving the room.

After a few hours of rest Jubilee started to wake.

" Hmm? Oh, I feel asleep. My bad Sho...go."

Jubilee was saying before she looked at the other sleeping body in the room.

' AHHHHHHHH!'

Jubilee shouted in her head.

"Hm? Oops I fell asleep too."

Justin said as he woke from his slumber.

" Hey jubs, did you sleep well?"

Justin asked.

" Uh... Yeah, I guess."

Jubilee replied awkwardly.

" Hey, Shogo. Look at you."

Justin said as he looked down at his son.

" Sorry, Jubilee. I didn't mean to fall asleep in here. Just after watching over, you two while you slept, I kind of dosed off as well."

Justin explained.

Jubilee looked at the man in silence over her embarrassment.

The silence was however, eventually broken by the sound of Jubilee's stomach rumbling.

" Are you hungry? I can get you something to eat if you want."

Justin exclaimed.

" I am. But I don't need food. I need... Blood right now."

Jubilee replied in sadness.

" Then, come. Take as much as you need."

Justin said as he directed the girl to his arm.

" No, I can't."

Jubilee replied.

Justin took his finger and ran it across his forearm cutting it open and drawing blood.

Jubilee's eyes turned red, and her fangs grew out as the blood hit the air. She lunged at Justin and licked the blood from his arm.

" Ugh! You idiot. Why would you do that?"

Jubilee asked.

" Because blood is no problem for me. My body produces more blood in a second than I could lose in two hours. And because you were hungry."

Justin explained.

" I'm all right now. Thank you. Can you stop the bleeding?"

Jubilee asked.

Justin nodded and closed the wound on his arm.

" WAHHH!"

Shogo cried as the boy woke from his sleep.

The two turned their attention to their son.

" Hey, come here now. What's the matter Shogo?"

Justin asked as he cradled the boy in his arms.

" Here, let me see him."

Jubilee said as she held her hands out for the boy.

Justin looked at the woman as she held the now silent boy and smiled.

' What a wonderful gift I've been given. A son.'

Justin thought as he smiled at the two.
