State of shock

Surprisingly the young security guard came to her defense and fired at the beefy zombie.

Out of his initial state of shock, the young man found some inner mojo.

He began working in tandem with the other two shooters to peel off the excess zombies that kept coming their way.

It was even more obvious that the young man was new since he didn't have any familiarity with the dead security guard in the tattered uniform. 

Unlike the others he had more time to take aim and be precise.

Just like any newbie he aimed to maim not to kill.

Clearly he had not faced death as much as the other two that were aiming at the brain to kill the zombies and not wasting bullets.

He fired a second round into the same leg of the zombie that the team leader had wounded earlier.

Under the impact of the bullets the right leg bone belonging to the beefy zombie's right was shattered and it collapsed to the ground.
