"Dad is gone" she burst into tears. Alex blinked, "What do you mean by gone," she asked, Seeing tears stream down her sister's face.
"I mean he gone like gone, he died on the way to the hospital" she cried.
Alex felt her body feel with goosebumps, "What, Cynthia what happened?"
Cynthia fell to the floor and Alex followed her holding her up, "Tell me what happened" tears fell out of her eyes.
"It was mom, she pushed him down the stairs which cause his heartache to act up and.....and... it was too late when they got to the hospital" she cried.
Alex felt her head get heavy, her vision blurred and her chest felt suffocated. She moved back, "No your lying, it can't be how can he just die...." she cried. Trying to get up she collapsed back down.
"Alex... 'Cynthia called seeing her sister faint.
...
"Sir, we have news about the White family "Mr Livingston looked up to his assistant.
"Is it about Alex? "he asked his assistant shaking his head." If it's about her family then don't bother "
"Well it's about her father, something happened to him "
"Does it affect Alex? "he asked.
"Yes, 'cause her father is dead now, "he said.
Nathan's father stood up," What, my friend is dead? "
He nodded," He died on his way to the hospital after suffering a heartache "
"And Alex was she present during the incident? "he asked.
"No, but her sister informed her, she fainted upon receiving the news "he reported.
Mr Livingston moved," I need to go see her now, "he said.
.....
Alex woke up to see herself down in the hospital bed.
"What am I doing here, "she asked seeing her sister sitting next to her with her mother.
"Honey you're awake, "her mother said.
Alex moved her eyes over them noticing their pale face, with swollen eyes.
"So true, his gone "she muttered.
Her mother held her," Sweet child, am sorry "
"But I thought it was a bad dream, he can't be gone, not now "she cried.
"But he is Alex, he left us alone "Cynthia cried.
Alex felt her tears drop from her eyes as her mother held her.
"Alex?... "they heard a voice call turning to the door. It was Nathan's father.
"Dad "she called with tears in her eyes. He sighed moving to the bed. Her mother moved back and he held her." His, gone Dad, what are we going to do, what am I going to do "she cried.
"Shh, don't cry too much, my child. Am here don't cry "he said calming her down.
Her mother stood back holding back her tears and walked to the crying Cynthia, comforting her. They had lost someone they all lived without warning they didn't even know what to do now.
