For Tonight
Alex opened her eyes to Nathan's waiting gaze. He smiled looking down at her, "You okay" he asked. She was laying in his arms.
She remembered their kiss and the overwhelming feeling she felt after pulling away. Her body was so excited that she could not control it.
"Am sorry" she replied.
He chuckled, "You don't have to apologize for anything Alex, am just glad you're okay" helping her up. She noticed they were already in the car.
"I don't know what happened I was so.." Nathan held her hand gaining her attention.
"Calm down Alex, you don't need to say anything," he said.
"But I must have turned it into a bad memory, am sorry," she said
Nathan noticed the tears form in her eyes and frowned. Alex felt him get closer and his warm big hands hold her neck dragging her face to his, she watched as his lips moved to hers again, fully kissing her.
Slowly her eyelids closed letting him kiss her, he pulled away breathing next to her, "I promise you Alex..." he pecked her lips..." you didn't do anything love. Am the one who has to apologize after all it was me who didn't hold back".
She smiled.
"Boss we are here?" Roy said.
Nathan and Alex pulled apart, he sighed glaring at Roy.
Alex grabbed her bag as Nathan opened the door, she followed out and stood next to him.
"Thank you for tonight Nathan, I enjoyed myself" she smiled.
"You're welcome, Alex. Thank you for accepting my invitation" he said.
She didn't move and looked up at him with a smile, she bit her lip again and he gasped looking away.
"Can I have my hand back" she giggled. He looked down to see his hand holding hers.
"Oh, am sorry" he chuckled letting go.
"Have a goodnight, Nathan".
"A good night to you too Alex".
She walked to the entrance of the building and turned around seeing him still there watching her. She laughed and waved at him, with a smile like hers Nathan waved back.
Alex arrived at her apartment with an excited Sister, she fell into her arms.
"What are you doing here?" she laughed.
"What do you think, that I would miss to know how your first date went" Cynthia laughed pulling her to the living room.
Alex sighed, "I might have spoilt the last part"
"What happened," her sister asked.
Alex told her all about her dinner and the trip to the fire files field and then their kiss.
"I don't see how you did, you scared me. Nathan is right it was him who didn't hold back, he knew it was your first time and went all in"
Alex pushed her sister playful, "why do you make it sound weird"
Cynthia laughed, "But don't linger on that, I mean I guess he loved kissing you that he could not hold back in the car too"
Alex scoffed getting up, "am going to take a shower now"
"Can I join in, got back from work and been sitting here waiting for you" her sister let out.
"Sure but am not washing your hair for you," Alex said.
"What does that mean, I thought you would as a reward for waiting for you," Cynthia said.
"Nope," Alex laughed.

Alex laid down in bed with her sister next to her. A recollection of what had happened flooded back in her mind and she found herself smiling.
The dinner, the fire files, then the kiss... She giggled hiding her face under the covers. Her hand touched her lips as she remembered how gently and sweetly Nathan had kissed her.
And the last one in the car had left her breathless. She felt her face get hot as it blushed.
"Oh, God. I don't think you will sleep tonight. Your mind is filled with all the feelings you felt today" Cynthia was smiling seeing her sister's movements.
She flinched and frowned, "I forgot you were here"
Her sister laughed, "Of course, you would, all your thinking about is him"
Alex turned away and Cynthia moved closer to her, "Tell me my dear sister how it feels to be loved for the first time"
"Am going to sleep?" Alex said. Cynthia giggled falling back.
Alex's home vibrated. She peeked at it to see a text from Nathan.
Getting up she read it.
"Good night Alex" it read.
She replied, "Goodnight Nathan"
She fell back and beamed, taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
