"About you.. "

"Boss she's here," Roy said to Nathan

He turned to see Alex walk in, she was dressed in one of his black shirts with her long golden wet hair down. Her face was pale making her red lips pop. She seemed nervous being dressed in his clothes and their company.

"We are here," Becca said

Alex stopped and looked around. The living room was decorated with balloons and the word happy birthday was hung up. Her soggy cake was on the table next to another chocolate birthday cake. Decorated with the words Happy birthday in gold. Two bottles of wine aside with two presents.

"When did you do all this" she smiled walking closer forgetting her being nervous.

"While you were taking a shower and changing. The boss did most of it" Becca reported.

"Thank you " she turned to Nathan.

"You're welcome" he smiled.

"So it's time for the birthday celebrations"Becca led her to the sofa.

They sat down, Nathan sat next to her and watched as Becca passed her the knife.

"Can I make a video of this" Roy asked

Alex nodded.

"Happy birthday to you" they started to sing. Becca was leading the song and Roy took the video.

"Happy birthday dear Alex, happy birthday to you" Nathan sang.

Alex was smiling as looked down at the cake. He moved it closer to her and told her to blow out the candle.

"You have to make a wish," Becca said.

"Oh," she closed her eyes and made a wish then blew out the candles.

"Thank you so much" she giggled as she cut the cake.

Picking up a piece she turned to Nathan, "here you go first"

He looked down at her hand holding the cake and chuckle, "No Alex, it's your birthday, you go first" he turned her hand back to her and moved it to her mouth.

Alex took it, "Still tastes good even after getting soggy" she smiled.

After giving him another piece she served the others.

Becca and Roy are most of the cake, Alex was sipping her third glass of wine when Becca got up.

"Time for gifts now" she pushed the huge package to Alex. "this is from me and Roy".

"Thank you" she took it and opened it to see a big-sized golden teddy bear.

"Oh my, thanks so much" she laughed

"I choose that colour cause reminded me of you, it matched your hair" Roy let out.

She giggled, "I love it, thank you, Roy and Becca"

"Boss it's your turn," Becca said.

Alex turned to Nathan who passed her a small box.

She slowly opened it to see a gold necklace with two words "ONLY ONE".

She looked up at him, "Just like Roy said, when I saw it I thought about you" he said.

She moved back to the necklace, "Thank you"slowly the words left her mouth. "But isn't this too much"
