Birthday gone wrong

The day before hope's birthday... Emma went to the mall with to get hope's costume... she bought hope an emerald dress, with a orange haired wig (from brave.. because hope loved how brave Merida was and wished to be just like her) and bought her an arrow and bow...

When Emma got home...

"mummy... mummy!!.. have you got me my costume?!" hope asked...

"yes honey!?..." Emma answered...

"great.. did you get your own costume" hope asked...

"am I supposed to?" Emma asked...

"yeah.. daddy also have to get his own costume.. I want you to dress as wonder woman and daddy dress like iron man.." hope said...

"okay fine..." Emma said...

"mummy.. I want it to be a mask party... my friend jade is really great at designing.. jade and I will do the decorations for the mask" hope assured then went...

The next day hope was super excited that it was her eight birthday and she was celebrating with her🤞daddy.. some time after the party began... jade and her brother Carmon came, hope's other classmates arrived not long enough.... hope had changed to her costume... Carmon mad fun of her but she didn't care.. jade dressed as half ladybug 🐞and half of Marinette.. Carmon was spider man...

The party continued and hope was having a great time.... but was thinking if Alex would come...

"mummy... I told my friend to come over but he hasn't showed up" hope said...

"who is your friend?!" Emma asked...

"he's super man... he saved me from the rolling roller coaster at the amusement park" hope answered....

"😊.. well maybe he's on his way... let me check out the window for you... Incase if he's flying around" Emma said...

"😳😂" was hope's expression... "he's not really superman" hope said..

Alex came and hope was really happy to see him...

hope gave him a mask and held on to his hand...

"now you can meet my mummy..." hope said...

"I think I know your mummy already" 😊 Alex said but in him he felt grossed out to see Emma again...

"you do!!?.. well then.. it's time for Mr to say my speech.. can you help me tell my mummy to come.. she's dressed as wonder woman.. and she's so pretty" hope said as she waited...

...

"where are you going... hope is about to say her speech and she wants you to hear it..." Emma said in a low tone to Gideon...

"she doesn't want me to hear it she want her father!!.. Alex, to hear those words.." Gideon said..

"no!... please!!" Emma begged...

"I'm sorry but playing as hope's father is so wrong.. I know you are trying to make her happy but this idea is so wrong... I also have my life... I'm sorry Emma but my girlfriend is really sick and I can't spend my time celebrating" Gideon said....

"I know you need to see her but can't you just spare me just 2 minutes" Emma suggested

(Alex heard😨)...

(and soon enough hope came... she was about to talk when she heard).....

"I'm leaving now!.. u have to tell hope the truth... if you don't and keep lying to her... she might not be able to trust you... " Gideon said as he left....

Emma was confused and didn't know what to do...

"where did daddy go to... what truth was daddy talking about... why did he say I won't trust you" hope asked and Emma was startled...

Emma turned and saw hope already getting sad 🥺 and next to her was ALEX!!!!... but unfortunately Emma didn't know that was Alex...

"excuse me sir... are you one of the kids parents... Um the toilet is the other side right next to the balcony" Emma said and then closed the door as she dragged hope to her and hugged her tight....

"I'm really sorry hope!!!.." Emma said also sad...

"mummy please don't cry on my birthday" she cleaned Emma's face "where did daddy go to" hope asked

"he said I should tell you sorry that he's really sorry.. that he had to go..." Emma said...

"are you telling the truth!?" 😒🤨🥺 hope asked....

"No!!.. but take this as the truth... I'll tell you the truth when you turn 9" Emma said...

"that's what you always say... first you said... when I turn 6 then 7, 8 and now you say 9" hope said...

"I promise... today is your day and I want you to be happy you can keep the speech for later shen your daddy gets back..." Emma said

"*sighed* as long as you stop crying" hope said...

"Okay?!!" Emma answered and cleaned her face...

Alex went home immediately and was so confused and angry...

"this is not good!!.. if hope is my daughter then I'm a bad father... why did Emma keep her from me... hope must be living the worst life with Emma.. this is so impossible... Emma is so careless... hope nearly got rolled over by a rollercoaster... thank goodness I saved her that day... who knows what would have happened" 😰😨😠 Alex couldn't stop thinking about everything and began to throw things.. which made loud noises...

Then his mother barged in with his father who was a bit okay than the last time....

"Alex!!... what's wrong with you... see your hands... you're bleeding..." his mother yelled...

While Merlin was dressing Alex's wound...

"why do you look upset?" 😰 his mother asked...

"maybe because one of his girlfriend's who just wants his money, broke up with him" Daniel said...

"that is Emma" Alex said...

"I don't get.. did Emma break up with you... were you guys still together" his mom asked...

"what?.. no!!.. we are done and I don't want anything to do with her.." Alex said...

"you don't know what you are saying young man..." Daniel just stood up...

"oh shh!!.. Alex!.. what happened?!" his mother asked...

"H- Hope" Alex said...

"what about her" both of his parents asked..

"today is her birthday" Alex said..

"Emma invited us but we couldn't go.." his mom said...

"so because today is hope's birthday you had to break every glass in your room just to get attention.." Daniel said...

"I wasn't trying to get your attention... it's not like you'd care if I died.." Alex said..

"Alex!!" his mother called his name.. "you are not going to die!!.. nothing can ever happen... is it because of hope's birthday... why do you suddenly care" she added...

"because I'm not like my father who doesn't care for his own child... and I care for hope.. because hope is my daughter" Alex said which made Merlin gasp...

"how are you sure?" she asked...

"took you long enough!!.. I knew but I was never sure... that's why I want you to bring hope back home.. to her family" his father said...

"you knew, and you didn't utter a word" Merlin yelled...

"I wasn't sure" Daniel said then kept his hand on Alex's shoulder...

"I don't care if you and Emma hate each other.. all I know is for you to bring her back here... cause I know she wouldn't want to leave hope... besides, hope would be happy to live together with her parents" he said then left....

Days later, Alex's Grandmother arrived when she heard that Alex had a daughter... she hated Emma because Emma's grandmother was her enemy.. and Alex could not stop thinking of what to do about hope...

One day when Emma went to pick Hope up from school,

 She looked shocked when she saw Alex talking to hope she immediately went to hope....

 "Hope!!. What are u doing!!.. how many times have I warned you not to talk with strangers!!" Emma said without looking at Alex and dragged hope..

 "But mummy he's my friend.. he's my superman.. I invited him for my birthday but you didn't see him.. mummy please try to talk to him.. he was the person who saved me at the park" hope said...

 Then...

 "So now I'm a Stranger huhn?!!" Alex Said from behind... 

 Emma stopped for a while but continued walking....

"Stop!!" Alex yelled..

Emma stopped immediately with shock and then Alex came to her front...

"Sir!... i have somewhere important to be and I don't want to see you any where near my daughter..." Emma said...

"Oh I am sorry.. I didn't mean to delay you" Alex said...

"Mummy please be nice to uncle... he's a hero... he's the one who saved me from the coaster that day.." hope said...

"Ok☺️.... 😒Thank you for saving my daughter from the coaster.. thank you sir" emma said....

"And where exactly were you... you left your daughter and she nearly got hurt.. what if I wasn't there.. who knew what could have happened.." Alex said ...

"Sir I already thanked you.. and why are you yelling... do you think I wasn't worried.." Emma said ...

"I.." then Alex phone rang and then picked up...
