"No one will be doing anything," a voice said.
"Ruth," Cole said.
"Cole," Ruth replied.
The voice that spoke belonged to one of the cousins of Cole, Ruth. Ruth then shifted her eyes from Cole to the guards.
"Who instigated this disturbance?" Ruth asked.
"It was the dark-haired boy that's accompanying the third prince. He broke the fingers of Tim," a guard said.
"What happened, Tim?" Ruth asked.
"He disrespected a guard of the Almer household, and so I attempted to show him the error of his ways," Tim replied.
Tim was the guard who Gabe had spit on his feet.
"How did he disrespect a guard, and what guard was that?" Ruth asked.
"It was me Princess Ruth, and he spit on my feet," Tim replied.
