CHAPTER 19: SMILEDREAM

Avita was familiar with various respected companies that may assist her. She would have hired their services if she hadn't had troubles with her previous employer, but she didn't want to go there.

On Monday, she drew down her idea and prepared the documentation required to establish her company and obtain a trading license and permit.

The next day, Avita took two kombis to her location, and happily, no other clients were waiting in front of her when she got to the Accountancy firm she had chosen.

As a result, she was swiftly served and informed to return in five days to pick up her processed documents.

Avita was ecstatic because she had anticipated it would take much longer. After all, the process used to take a week at her previous job.

The package she paid for included everything she wanted, including company registration, tax registration, bank account opening, secretarial services, a trading license, and a retail license.

The only thing left was for her to open an internet business, but she opted to wait until that day since she wanted to use the company's name.

For the time being, she was going to wait for the agents to call her so she could sign the remaining documents.

Avita spent her time walking about the CBD, comparing costs for garments and other products that she planned to sell when she launched her firm.

Time began to fly again, and during these days, Avita went on a trip with Lucilla and had a good time with her.

Lucilla discovered she was jobless at the same moment, but she was relieved when she learned she was intending to start a business.

Lucilla wanted to lend a helping hand, but Avita turned her down politely. Lucilla ultimately decided to stand by her buddy and not get involved.

When Lucilla went to the main mansion, she also told her mother about Avita's situation, and no one knew what these people thought after hearing this.

During the same time period, Avita completed some processes that were required, and on the fifth day, she received all the documents that she required.

When Patrick arrived home that night, an overjoyed Avita who couldn't contain her joy greeted him.

"Did you succeed?" he asked cheerfully, smiling.

Avita was beaming like a toddler who had just received candy and rapidly waved her head, "ummm, I am now a director!"

Patrick was thrilled for his fiancée, as evidenced by his behavior.

Two hours later, the pair were hugging on the couch while Patrick sorted through the company documents Avita had brought home.

Avita had titled her firm SmileDream (Pty) Ltd, and instead of focusing entirely on selling garments, as she had originally intended, she decided to make it a general supply.

So, in the future, if she feels like selling a cake, she won't have to worry about the authorities.

SmileDream had both herself and the company registered with Oshua Unified Revenue Services (OURS), Oshua's tax department.

She was compelled to submit her financial situation to the authorities as a corporate director, and she had no intention of breaching the law or skimping on it.

When a corporation applied for a bank account, it was required to deposit OWD 1,000 into the account for future usage. And Avita deposited OWD 13,000 as the company's initial capital, along with OWD 5,000 from a loan she obtained.

She was not going to toy with money in any way. Despite the fact that her whole savings were sufficient to start her firm, she did not want to jeopardize everything she had. Anything can happen, and if she loses her hard-earned savings, she will most likely to commit suicide and meet her unidentified ancestors.

She planned to do the basic accounting herself as an accountant and delegate the remainder of the procedures, such as financial statements, to a qualified accountant.

Avita was the sole director and signatory for her company. Patrick's name was nowhere to be found on her company's records, and it may only appear in the liabilities section in the future to reflect the person who loaned her money when she first started.

Patrick simply went over the other documents, which were all in order. He wasn't bothered by the fact that he wasn't included in Avita's business. Knowing his parents, he will only cause Avita pain by doing so, so early.

It was best for them to perform their work separately at this point. She can still be saved if something bad happens in the future.

SmileDream did not yet have a physical location, so she registered the firm using her home address.

Before going to bed this time, the couple talked about a variety of topics.

Avita went to the salon the next day after receiving a call and spent practically the entire day there. She was excited when she went home with extra money in her pocket.

Avita didn't want to forget about starting an internet store, so she went to Cloud Mart, an online marketplace in Oshua where merchants may offer their products.

Avita intended to market locally rather than internationally at the time, thus this platform was ideal for her.

She created an account on the platform and uploaded the necessary personal and business documents. After finishing this section, the next step was to await confirmation.

If her online store is approved, she must link her bank account or other online payment systems such as PayPal or Payoneer. They were quite good because they were acceptable in her country.

Avita didn't forget to check her Fiverr account; she'd been registered for almost a week and hadn't received a single gig. It was concerning, but what could she do?

****

As he smoked, a man sat in an elegant brown office chair, and smoke rings could be seen floating in the air.

Another younger man stood directly opposite him, holding a black tablet with a photo of a smiling young lady on it.

If Avita had been present, she would have immediately identified the person on the iPad as her. And how these two men obtained her photograph was a story for another day.

"When is she leaving for Botswana?" the older man inquired, his voice sluggish.

"I have checked the records, and she had booked a bus ticket for Thursday morning," the younger man said swiftly and completely, “she will go to Gaborone by ALC transport coach and will stay at Realeboga B&B in Block 3. When she will return is unknown at this time."

The older man laid down his cigar and moved his head to gaze at the younger man, saying, "Send more people to protect her, and don't let my wife catch a whiff of this!"

"Don't worry, Sir," the younger man answered with a smile, “Madam will never learn anything about it. She is still investigating that woman."

"All right, then!"
