The Party

After work Ashley went back home to prepare for the party, she went into her. closet

"Ahh what should I wear, I don't have any good clothes, this is so frustrating, ahh" she said as she spotted the suitcase Carey gave her before she left, she went and opened it, she was so shocked at what she saw, she also saw a note Carey left for her

"I know you don't have any good clothes it's love me you don't remember it's California you are going to so I remembered for you, I hope you like it"

"That girl never fails to amaze me" she thought as she took out a black, V line short long sleeve gown . She took it and wore it with a choker and black earrings with black heels, she made her hair straight she looked at herself in the mirror she was surprised at what she saw she couldn't believe she could local k like this, she should probably thank Carey when she get back then she took her purse and left the apartment

Outside the club Mia was waiting for Ashley when someone tapped her shoulder

"Hey Mia" the person said

"Ashley!" Mia was so stunned when she looked back, she couldn't believe this goddess was hiding behind a mask and uniform

"Ashley did it hurt when you fell from heaven" Mia said

"Mia what are you saying"

"Because you look like a goddess" Mia retorted

"Shall we head inside" Ashley said as she held Mia's hand

"We shall" they laughed as they entered the club

Inside the club two friends were talking

"So Alex when are you and Alexa going to talk " Ashton said

"I don't know, Ashton you know how she is": Alex said as he sipped his wine.

"Alex you shouldn't drink too much"

"You of all people should not lecture me on drinking" Alex retorted

"Okay, just saying" Later on

"I have to use the restroom" Alex said as he tried to stand up

"Be careful, maybe I should follow you" He said as he stood up and helped Ashton to the restroom, he was about to enter the restroom

Alex stopped him and said

"Do you also want to follow me into restroom, wait here" Ashton waited for Alex outside the restroom until something caught his eyes

"Is that Alexa" he said as he walked towards her but she started walking faster trying to avoid him

"Alexa wait!" he said as he ran and caught up with her

"Alexa..." he said while trying catch his breath

"Alexa what are you doing here" He asked Alexa who was not looking at him

"Alexa look at me" he said as he moved her face to look at him

"Are you spying on Alex" he said and immediately she moved her face

" Yes I knew it" he said and immediately started laughing

"Are you some now" she said as she pouted

"Don't pout you look so cute when you do that" he said as he patted her hair

"Stop it, now where is he? " she said childishly

" He's in the restroom I'll take you there" he said as he grabbed her hand took her to where Alex was but before they could reach there, they suddenly stopped as they saw Alex kissing another girl, then Alexa ran away and Ashton followed

"Sir what are you doing?" the girl said

"Alexa I'm sorry... so very sorry" Alex said

"Sir you are drunk, where's your car"

"It's outside Alexa" he said as he stumbled but the girl was quick to catch him

" Okay sir let's go" she said as she helped him outside

Outside the club She helped to where he said his car was and knocked on the tainted window

" Ma'am, what happened " the driver asked

" His drunk, you have to take him home" she retorted

" Okay ma'am, aren't you coming with us? I can drop you off "

"Sorry I came with a friend, so don't worry"

" Okay thank you ma'am, bye"

" Bye " she retorted as she stared at the car till it was out of sight

"Ashley what are you doing here" someone behind her said

"Mia thank god, it's a long story" she said and immediately they entered inside

Alexa ran to the restroom she put herself in a foetus position and started crying in one of the bathroom stall

"Alexa... Alexa where are you" Ashton said and soon spotted her crying in one of the bathroom stall

"Alexa stop crying, what you saw wasn't it, he was drunk so he didn't know what he was doing" he said as he bent down

"He didn't?" she said as she raised her head

"He didn't I'm sure of that so stop crying" he said as he wiped the tears on her face

"Now let's go find Alex" he said as he stood up and helped her up, she dusted her clothes and they left the restroom

They looked everywhere for him but couldn't find him

"Are you sure he didn't hoe with that girl" Alexa said as she looked down and started playing with her fingers like a child if anyone saw her right now they wouldn't believe that she is 'THE Alexa Wayne' the heartless CEO playing with her fingers like a child, Ashton laughed at her cute gesture

"I'll call his driver"he said and immediately he took his phone and called Alex's driver, he hung up and put his phone back in his pocket

" He's home "

"Okay then let's go" she said as she held his hand

"Now! "

"Yes now when else tomorrow" Ashton was so stunned to speak he just followed her out of the club

"Mia, why can't I find love" Ashley suddenly asked

"What do you mean" Mia retorted

"That man I helped he said another girl's name, I can see he's still very much in love with her, why can't I find love like them" she said as she took a sip of wine

"Ashley everything happens in its own time, you will find love too Ashley, you just have to wait"
