Time limit

Riley was training newborns to get revenge on the Cullen's. They were cold blooded killers who took pleasure in killing. He never knew that such a cold and harsh world also existed where they were in danger from all sides.

Before all of this, he was a smart guy who did well in mist fields, he had reached the end of his freshman year at Oregon University.

Then Victoria came into his life, when he first met her she was afraid that the Cullens would come after her and was in a state of fear and rejection about how her coven had been killed by them.

After his transformation into a vampire, she told him that she'd fallen in love with him and told him about her life that led him to willingly serve her and return her perceived feelings. She taught him the capabilities and limitations of being a vampire, including the Volturi's threat.

But he couldn't help but doubt her sometimes but he didn't pay much attention to it because he believed that after arriving into a whole new world it made sense that he was being distrustful.

He just hoped that after enacting their revenge he and Victoria would be able to live safely.

He looked at the newborns to see some of them just giving in to their instincts and attacking everything left and right. It had become an usual sight after all newborns couldn't control themselves very well. He sighed, "these worthless trash are the reason why I haven't been able to see Victoria. How annoying."

Victoria had been going away to bring more newborns and to get information on the Cullens. Hence she couldn't spend as much time with him as he wanted.

He moved towards them and killed the vampires causing trouble.

Simon, Jane, and a few other guards were running in the direction of Seattle where the newborn army was located.

As soon as they arrived at their location they were surrounded by vampires.

"How foolish do you think you can treat the Volturi like this?"

The newborns were ignorant and foolish, they were not taught much about the vampire world and their powers, much less about Volturi because they were created with the intention to kill after they had done their job meanwhile Victoria and Riley knew how strong the Volturi was and they should never offend them.

Riley and Victoria came running to see why the Volturi were here, but before they could reach them, some newborns attacked the guards. As they moved to attack them one of them exploded while another one dropped down screaming his throat out until a guard came and stomped his head crushing it completely.

All of the newborns felt fear of losing their life in this miserable and painful way, while Riley and Victoria gritted their teeth at how easily the Volturi had dealt with a newborn and that they couldn't stop the newborns from doing something insensible. After seeing the display, no one in the army dared to attack anymore.

The Volturi came towards Victoria and Riley, "you have a five-day limit to fulfill your army's purpose." Jane said, her voice devoid of any emotions.

Victoria knew that the Volturi were never merciful and Victoria hadn't been completely discreet while making newborns and the newborns were even worse as they just hunted when they wanted not caring about their surroundings so they obviously stood to gain something from giving them time instead of killing all of them right there and then. Victoria was curious and wanted to know about it but her gift flared up warning of the danger that would come if she questioned the Volturi.

After saying what they wanted to, the Volturi disappeared as if they were never there but the tension in the air, a headless corpse and remains of a newborn said otherwise.

Victoria started to make preparations for the attack they would do on Cullens in five days, she didn't much of choice in this case either she could wait five days for death by Volturi or she could attack the Cullen's and try to escape the Volturi.

She instructed Riley to prepare the army to the best of his ability in the few days he had at least until they knew who to attack

They started to discuss the plan, Riley had managed to go into Forks avoiding the shape shifters and Cullen's, he was successful in obtaining a red blouse that belonged to Bella. He then made the newborns smell it so when they attack they can at least get their revenge on the person responsible for death of Victoria's coven.
