Ch 18- a blessing in disguise

To have her picture taken she had chosen to use the studio she had always accompanied Roxanne to on occasions like this. The studio was very popular so she was bound to meet a crowd there but she had no choice.

She was bound to meet a crowd there but she had no choice. She was sure of their top quality cause she had seen their works before. She couldn't vouch for other studios so she'll wait for them no matter how long it took.

As expected when she got to the studios there were celebrities crawling here and there. A few that could only be seen on TV and some that were not so popular too. Gisele had also come across someone she knew.

Brenda.

She was not alone today, there was a young man walking beside her. Unlike her who was elegantly dressed, he looked shabby and unkempt in his worn out jeans and slightly faded top. Yet she didn't seem to look down on him, if anything, her expression held warmth as she listened to him trying to calm her down.

Apparently her studio session was given off to some other celebrity and she was asked to reschedule.

Brenda didn't seem to recognize Gisele when Gisele walked in. How could she when Gisele was looking more defined than the last time they saw.

Her appearance caused as uproar in the studio, people awed and talked of her as she walked pass. Some celebrities were offended at the same time but Gisele wasn't bothered.

She went straight to the booking section and ignored the stares she was getting.

"Hello" she greeted the girl standing as the receptionist. There was no reply, the girl was staring blankly at her.

"Hello Miss, How may I help you?" She finally replied when she regained her composure.

"I need to book a Studio session"

"Sorry miss but all our photographers have their schedule full but if you want you can wait for an opening or book for another day" the girl replied apologetically.

Gisele smiled and nodded her head "it's okay, I'll wait" she turned and went back to the waiting section. Like her there were other small time celebrities that had chosen to wait too. Among them was also Brenda, she had finally calmed down and was waiting alongside the young man.

Gisele spared them a minute glance and took her own sit. She brought out her phone and began tapping away, she could use the time of waiting to set up her social media handles, not that she was the social type but who knows they might come in handy.

"Where is she?! She isn't here yet?" An angry voice was heard.

Gisele looked up. There was a middle age man talking to the receptionist angrily. He was shouting and scolding her continuously.

'Mr Collins.' Gisele recognized him.

Not only was he the owner of this studio but he was also the lead Photographer. Everybody knows, not only was it expensive to book him, it was relatively not easy too.

He only attended to two people each week no matter who you are and his rule was simple. Come late and your session was over. Despite that, it seems the celebrity that had booked him was running late to her schedule.

Surely a blessing in disguise for those waiting.

"She said she's having her make up done, she asked to have her session rescheduled to the evening" the receptionist timidly explained. Mr Collins had a bad temper, normal people would be scared by him.

"Reschedule?" He scoffed "in her dreams" He turned to go but his eyes caught a certain figure sitting patiently and tapping away on her phone screen, unlike the other females sitting there was no haughty or arrogant air exuding from her body. He paused then turned and whispered to the receptionist.

Gisele had just finished setting her social media handles when she saw a pair of shoes in front of her.

"Miss excuse me" she heard the receptionist say so she looked up.

"Mr Collins has chosen to offer you a session with him"

Not only Gisele but the other girls that had heard the receptionist were shocked as well.

"Me?" Gisele pointed to herself.

"Yes miss" the girl confirmed "if you don't mind please come with me"

Stunned Gisele stood up and followed after the girl. True and true she was brought to meet Mr Collins.

"Good day sir" she greeted.

Mr Collins nodded at her greeting and motioned for her to sit. She sat.

"You didn't come with your manager?" He asked. More than half of the people that frequents his Studio were celebrities so he had thought she was one too.

Gisele chuckled, he must have misunderstood her "no I'm not a celebrity" she said and added "at least not yet"

She's not a celebrity?!

The man was shocked to hear this. Any girl that had this kind of beauty would have long joined the entertainment industry. He was right, she was different.

"So what do you need the studio session for?"

Gisele answered "I need to sign up for an audition, I'm aware of your quality so I came here"

He nodded "Are you ready?" most celebrities would like to touch up their make up before taking a picture, even when they already had a ton on their faces, some would even like to change their outfits too. To them those things made it a perfect picture.

"Yeah I'm ready" She surprised him once again with her reply.

The man led Gisele to the studio, gave her a few instructions and also taught her a few poses and then the photoshoot started.

Gisele had expected probably two or three shots to get the angle, lightening and poses right but hours had rolled by and Mr Collins was not done asking her to change positions and poses. She was totally out of poses yo change to but he didn't mind cause he would provide her with one everytime she was clueless on what to do.

She was tired already but had no way to make him stop. After what turned out to be the fifteenth shot. He finally decided to not take anymore shots.
