Dylan's Desperate Search.

Ding dong! The door swung open, and Adrien stood there with a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you, Dylan," he greeted cheerfully. Dylan, however, was not in the mood for pleasantries. He asked urgently, "Where is she?" His eyes betrayed his desperation; he didn't want to talk, he just wanted to see where Ember was.

Adrien, enjoying teasing Dylan, replied with a smirk, "She's in my room." This further infuriated Dylan, who grabbed Adrien's collar and demanded, "What did you do to her? Why is she here at your house? And most importantly, how dare you touch her?" Anger radiated from him.

With a playful tone, Adrien retorted, "Haha! You haven't changed at all. Let's just sit and play a game of question and answer. It's more important right now."

Dylan released his grip on Adrien's collar and rubbed his temples in frustration. "Ugh! Just tell me which room she's in," he finally managed to ask.

Adrien, somewhat more cooperative, replied, "On the first floor, in my room. You know where it is."

"You..." Dylan began to say but stopped himself. He rushed to the room, where he was relieved to find Ember. "Finally, I found you," he sighed with relief, taking a deep breath. However, as he approached her, he noticed she was asleep, and her unresponsiveness concerned him. He called her name softly, "Ember, Ember," and held her hands, which felt cold. But there was no response from her.

Adrien entered the room, saying, "Remove your hands from her." Dylan reluctantly complied as Adrien examined Ember. "She fainted, and the real question is, what did you do to her? Why is she not responding?" Adrien inquired.

"It's none of your business. Just tell me what happened that she's like this," Dylan replied, his worry evident.

"Let her rest and come downstairs," Adrien suggested, and Dylan agreed. The two of them descended to the lower floor.

Sitting in the living room, Dylan couldn't contain his concern any longer. "Tell me what happened to her? And how did you find her?"

Adrien grinned slyly. "It's a long story," he began, but Dylan interjected, "Get to the point."

Adrien decided to be concise. "I found Ember in the middle of the night. She had fainted on the roadside. I noticed a car speeding away, and I rushed to help her."

Dylan was impatient. "When are you getting to the important part?"

Adrien continued, "She was drenched, so I brought her here, and it turns out, your house is nearby."

Dylan raised an eyebrow. "Why didn't you bring her to my place when she fainted near my house?"

Adrien teased, "You mean, send her back to where she ran from? Don't make me laugh."

"Fine, I'll take her back then," Dylan retorted, but Adrien stopped him, holding his hand from behind. "Hey, wait! Tell me what you did to her. Why was she on the street in heavy rain when she should've been in bed? Why is your number the only one in her phone?" Adrien questioned, his tone more serious.

"It's none of your business. Thanks for taking care of her," Dylan replied, his face filled with remorse. Adrien, however, wasn't satisfied. "It's no longer just my business. When I met her this morning, she was vibrant and full of life. But what I saw later, I can't believe it. Her joyful face was replaced with tears, and the state I found her in, you wouldn't believe she could be like that. She fainted, yet tears streamed from her eyes, her body trembled, and she kept talking about you," Adrien explained.

Dylan felt overwhelmed by guilt and patted Adrien's shoulder. "Thanks for your help. I won't let that happen again." He then returned to Ember's side, holding her hand tightly. Tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered, "I'm so sorry for not telling you about this. I won't let it happen to you again. I really love you. Let's go back to our home." With a tender kiss on her forehead, he gently picked her up bridal-style, preparing to leave the room.

i want you today , tomorrow, and always
