As they entered the mall, she exclaimed, "It's so big."

He replied, "Yes, this is the biggest in the city."

"Oh!"

He suggested, "Why don't you go try this shop and buy something?" she replied, "Okay."

Upon entering the shop, ember thought, 'I am going to spend his money, so I have to be mindful.'

"Oh, this is a nice dress," she muttered.

her eyes were drawn to a beautiful long dark blue dress with an off-shoulder design. However, when she saw the price, she thought, 'Oh no! It's too high. Even if I spend all my pocket money for the whole year, I can't afford it. Let me find another one.'

Just then, a salesgirl approached and said, "Hello, ma'am. How can I assist you?" in Chinese.

ember replied, "I can't understand you. I don't speak Chinese. Could you please speak in English? It would be better for both of us."

She switched to English and asked, "Ma'am, what are you looking to buy? How can I help you?"

She replied, "Thank you for your concern, but I will look around by myself."

In her mind, she didn't want their assistance. ember wanted to choose a dress she liked. She believed that without the salesgirl's help, she could find a dress that suited her better. So ember thought, 'I don't want them to select a dress for me.'

The salesgirl persisted, "I'm here if you need anything. Feel free to ask."

She nodded and said, "Okay, thanks. If I need help, I'll let you know."

With that, she began to explore the store on her own. Just then, Emir walked into the shop and asked, "So, what did you find?"

In her mind, she struggled with the high prices. she remained silent, not wanting to explain her predicament. He noticed her silence and remarked, "Looks like someone's feeling shy about shopping. Let me pick out some options for you."

She hummed in agreement, thinking that maybe his choices would be more budget-friendly.

As Emir started selecting dresses for her , he removed his mask. Meanwhile, the salesgirls at the counter were busy chatting:

"Wow, he's so handsome."

"I wonder what his name is."

"I think I've seen him on TV."

She felt fortunate to have him with her, and thought, 'They are right.'

Emir instructed, "Come here, Ember. I've chosen these dresses. Stand in front of the mirror."

She responded with a simple "Hm."

He placed the dresses in front of her , assessing if they suited her. Then he said, "These look good on you. Go ahead and try them on."

"Okay," she agreed.

Inside the dressing room, she checked the price tag and found it too expensive. she quickly stepped out and whispered to Emir, "It's too expensive."

He reassured her, "Don't worry. Trying them on is free." with a wink.

She nodded and said, "You're right."

Back in the changing room, she realized he was right; there was no cost to try them on. So, she decided to try on a simple white frock with a boat neck. As she emerged from the dressing room, she felt a bit uncomfortable. She hadn't realized how short the dress was. She tugged at it to cover her knees.

Emir complimented, "You look nice. Come in front of the mirror and see."
