A Munificent Frigate worked on by the remnants of this planet finally fit to leave it's atmosphere. Through time and resources, the damaged ship was ready to be of use once more.
Above it was the council of Leadership whom stood above all other droids. While it was risky to send all those important command staff on a ship just fixed.
No one of them wanted to wait to see the stars once more, all eager to be amongst the first to take the step in a new ambition.
Clone, the original droid whom gave all other droids on this planet a second chance stood at the command deck, waiting eagerly for his months long ambition to bear fruition.
Time seemed even slower now than back then for him as he watch the ship ascend and begin to speed up, each minute they moved closer and closer until they were there.
Like cold water sliding careful upon your body, cooling water ever heat had been building up. It came at once, neither painful nor uncomfortable.
Seamlessly slipping in and settling down like it had always been there. The immediate reaction was a deep power drainage on his part.
But he was prepared as he had been attached to a makeshift power generator aboard the ship. Siphoned energy from droid packs and generated using the factories engine.
Quickly it went as his mind lived through the experience without ever living through it. His answers had come, his past experience was here and his was dumbfounded at its scale.
Just as it was being restored, it was also being transferred out of his memory as his droid brain could not handle such a load.
It would be treated just like data and stored for future review along with use. The upper echelons of the droid command celebrated their new step, where some saw more opportunities others saw a future.
" The time has arrived, long have I promised this moment and I have not failed to achieve so. I have brought up your broken bodies and allowed you a seconds chance at duty. "
A pre recorded speech began playing over the central computer station, a place where droid communication is centralized.
" Now, it is your time to give back. You have died once for a cause, I give you that opportunity once more. This time knowing you died on your own accord. "
The speech finished quickly, short but effective for the minds of B1 battle droids. Convincing B1's was easy, changing their programming was easier.
Instilling the idea however that they were alive and with use, that this was their choice was necessary for the more veteran of them.
Initially, the goal of getting the memories reinstalled was simply necessary for knowing how exactly progress should be made and with what goals in mind.
But now, these memories provided answer to questions he wasn't prepared to ask yet. Like the amount of will B1 battle droid showed here unlike any he had seemed to recall ever.
[ Persepective ]
Well this development would have been welcomed at an earlier date. Based on what I have seen and eliminated, my goal here is to be prepared...in a way.
The being cares not how this world ends nor progresses but how I act in it. He needs me to enforce order, the matter of it is another thing to think off.
So I know impressing him plays a role in my goal, gaining experience too would be necessary. If maintaining the current setting is his idea of control, then I could use the droid forces.
Replacing things shouldn't be too problematic as long as it moves in the same direction as the original. If he means retaining control by establishing an order of my own....droids are also a way to go.
Now this is something with risks no matter how I can currently look at it, other than that. I finally have the necessary knowledge to make this planet useful.
Although I know not what caused it to be like this but it's enough for me. Already got one of the two Frigates up and running. The factory is operating at around 10% of it's Capabilities but I should be able to have it fully operational and expanding in a few more months.
Having total control of the planet is a must for future operations to expanding the scouting operations is a must, I'd also prefer this to be an active world.
The universe is very big and once I gain access to where we are exactly in the galaxy, doing what I want here should be of no problem.
I should also work to bring our schematics from memory and make use of them, the idea of using those OOM piloted Tri- fighter droids makes me excited.
Weapon schematics are also valuable too, since there are no Geneva conventions here....flame throwers should be of no problem.
Those experimental droids were also enticing as well, should also get some of their schematics....I should probably get a division for doing all this.
No way can I do it all myself, besides I'd first need numbers for all these to happen to beginning large scale production of droids is much needed.
Project Unliving should match perfectly with my current situation, think of a world. An entire planet with a working industry and population, the twist.
All of them are droid, specifically droids from the seperatist union. I tried that during a run but never finished and It got cleared during the Imperial Era.
This time however, I'll need it not as a fortress but a center. The mere applications this project could have is so much that I am utterly perplexed as too how I handled it last run.
' Well, it was a late decision for that version of you. Accomplished more than was expected with just 1 year before the arrival of the empire '
' But it was somewhere so obvious, why set it on Geonosia of all planets in the galaxy. '
' You have the advantage of your failures, you should be glad this happened. '
' Would have happened much earlier if you did not tamper with my very being. '
' I am simply a servant just like you, I had and have no say in what "it" does to you '
' I will say that you should find a more advanced planet and use its knowledge to know you location. Pacification might be needed so you should be prepared for that '
' Of course, I'll get right to that immediately while I begin work. So much to do, so much to accomplish. '
So it began, the introduction of something not meant to be. Something that shall instill fear into the hearts of the inhabitants of the galaxy.
Announcements were made as the process begun, scouting data were reviewed and troops released to secure it. Droids programmed for construction already began basic work.
New divisions erupted on this world as the base droid body was found lacking by the Supreme commander. But for now, this would be a ghost world to the galaxy.
[ POV ]
He'd been running for so long, tired and in need for rest yet none was given. Low on supplies and his destination so far unknown. He had to keep running, it was his General's orders.
He had to report to the Republic, warn the republic and his brothers. They were here and they knew the republic was coming, so he had to love and send the message.
There wasn't enough time left before the republic launches its forces to this system, if that were to happen with their current information, it would be a massacre.
The only relay station powerful enough and in his reach was the one located in the middle of the forest, it was old but could still be useful.
His general assured him of it's existence and location, but he is vying hunted right now. There were 5 of them at first, there's only him now.
It was approaching night time and he knew, he'd be at a disadvantage but he had to be on the move...just much slower now.
He quickened his steps, making sure to stay behind trees and listen for any patrolling or incoming droids. He was close, very close.
He had to send it before day break no matter the cost and so far. Just then he heard a sound, quickly ducking and laying prone as he scanned the area.
Then he saw it, black painted and big. Still as rock it stood, the distinct paint signifying it's allainces blaring red in colour.
He rechecked his optics just to make sure, doubting what he was seeing. Those things shouldn't be deployed now, just...just how long have they been here.
