Ch 99 – Devilish Intruders

And out came the blaring light of the sun high above us.

"W- where are we?" asked Ddraig as we found ourselves on top of a certain building.

"Back in Kuoh," I muttered and with a mental prompt, the AI chip activated itself and I appeared back in Kuoh Academy on the rooftop I usually eat at.

"What are we even here for? Issei's already de- what?!" shouted Ddraig as I pointed my finger in a certain direction and there he was, Issei running around with the other two of the Perverted Trio of Kuoh Academy.

"And guess what that Issei has in his soul," with a snap, Ddraig saw Issei's soul and with that, he saw the blaring red soul that was attached to Issei's soul.

"T- that can't be!" shouted Ddraig in disbelief as I crouch down on the ground with a bored face, another universe similar to the one I came from.

"Told you, infinite realities is wack innit?" I then stood up to go towards the vending machine near me to grab some drinks so I can drink something while Ddraig was having an existential crisis, it's hard to accept something as insane as infinite realities but eh, he'll get used to it.

So with nothing else to do, I just watch the students prowl around like stupid kids, but as I was dangling off the rails with no one else finding me, I heard the door behind me opening and just let the events play out.

"Oh, I didn't know someone else is here," said an unfamiliar voice behind me as I just continued to watch the students playing around the school grounds.

"So… are you also here for lunch?" said the voice as I turned around to see a surprisingly handsome young man with black hair, brown eyes, fair white skin, and a relatively average height.

"No," what use was it to even talk to someone else, besides, I'll probably be gone here in a week because I do plan to learn Rune Magic or another magic system later like Demonic Power.

"Then what are you here for?" asked the boy while taking out a bento box from his bag.

"To look around, enjoy the view of the three perverts running around," I responded back and went to drink the last bit of the juice I was drinking.

Then we stayed silent and ignored each other as Ddraig finally talk once more.

"Are you saying that all of this is real? That there are infinite universes out there that contain another version of me?" asked Ddraig inside my mind as I just nodded which made him silent for a little longer.

Eh, I was getting bored staying here, so with a quick spell, I mind controlled the boy so that his memories of me doesn't exist anymore and I teleported myself away and now I was inside my room in this universe and prepared to kill myself again just like last time.

"So Ddraig, are you finally ready to grant me access to the Boosted Gear," I said while plopping down on my bed with a yawn.

"Sigh, fine, but leave me alone for now, I need to take a time off and try to find my place in the universe right now," responded Ddraig, and the moment I took out my Sacred Gear, a different gauntlet went on to cover my left hand and now it holds a striking resemblance to a dragon's claw.

"Thanks," now let's take this bad boy for a ride!

With a quick mental command, I appeared in the searing hot desert as a testing ground to see how ridiculous the Boosted Gear is.

Just imagine, I have Cancer cells so near infinite stamina, then along with my Dung Beetle form... well only a monster is born under those circumstances!

With my body getting enveloped by a black armor, I started to activate my Boosted Gear preparing to see how broken it would be with this body of mine.

"BOOST!" the moment that voice came out from the Boosted Gear, a tremendous amount of energy exploded from my body as the surrounding areas got launched out from the sheer aura my physical body was producing!

"HA!" I shouted and threw a punch forwards and the moment I did, I exerted a force equivalent to 500,000 kilograms moving at rapid speeds and that produced a force so ridiculous just the air pressure from my strike created an explosion in the air in front of me as the giant rocky formation int eh distance exploded into chunks and pieces.

"Holy shit!" I shouted with wide eyes as another "BOOST!" got sent out from the Boosted Gear and out came another ridiculous power-up.

"HA!" I shouted and this time, the force has more than quadrupled and the clouds in the distance got knocked back from my physical strength alone!

"WHAT?!" this is ridiculous!

The power of science along with magic really does bring miraculous effects!

"BOOST!" out came another boost and this time, the punch I threw out brought a hole in the clouds in the far distance as I appeared in a different place to truly try out this strength, in the ocean!

"BOOST!" with power coursing through my whole body, I threw a punch at the body of water below me, and out came an explosion that made a hole in the water that it even reached the ocean floor as cracks were produced on the ground.

"BOOST!" the next punch I threw was directed towards the open sea and the moment I did, a large amount of regret overcame me as destruction came.

The clouds and sea parted way from the roar of a beast of destruction!

The sea was divided into two!

The clouds led wake to the air pressure of my fist, and large waves of water sprouted from the open sea as the color red dyed the sea.

"What?!" out came Ddraig as he finally got out of his contemplations and saw the destruction I brought upon the ocean blue.

"Holy shit," I let out with an agape mouth because my calculation was totally off, I expected to just part the clouds but now…

"Tsunamis are going to destroy most countries of Asia," I said as a gigantic tsunami was in the distance and that wasn't my only problem.

With my drastic display of strength that probably alerted the whole world to the existence of the supernatural from the clouds that went on for hundreds of kilometers, it means that this world is now fucked.

"Well Ddraig, enough moping around the concept of Infinite Realities because we are moving to another one," with a quick wave, the Sacred Gear in my arm got absorbed back into my body as the Tsunami in the distance got blocked off by a group of Magicians that appeared in the distance.

"Fire!" shouted the Magicians as they shot out elemental attacks toward me but I completely ignored it as the IDT spell got activated once more and everything went to black.

"Where are we? And what was that black armor? And how were you so strong?" rapidly asked Ddraig as we appeared in a random toilet stall.

"We're back in my original universe, the black armor is something I can do with my body, and I was that strong due to my armor," as I took a quick glance around us, I breathed a sigh of relief to see that Kiba is gone here because I want to keep this universe as a safe haven for myself due to it holding a sentimental value for me.

"Wait, you're original universe? How many universes have you been to already?" asked Ddraig.

"3, this one, the one you were in, and the one where we run away from," I said while getting out of the stall and outside the bathroom.

"So you've only been hopping from one reality to another for how long?" asked Ddraig, "A couple of months now."

"How long did it take you to recover from the realization that you are not special?" Ddraig ask.

'Quite fast, less than 10 minutes,' I responded back mentally due to other students being around me.

'Oh? Less than 10 minutes, you must have really good mental fortitude, fitting for a wielder of the Red Dragon Emperor,' said Ddraig as he got back to his usual self but he was a bit more friendly with his voice.

'Yeah yeah,' I rolled my eyes at Ddraig's pride and went back towards my classroom and ignore my past interactions with Rias and Souna.

(A Few Hours Later)

"I'm home!" I shouted the moment I reached our house and saw that I was the one who got home first surprisingly enough.

I kinda expected Rias and Souna to confront me but it seems like all is now fine.

I then took off my shoes and put them down on the shoe rack and entered the house preparing to cook a quick snack like pancakes or instant ramen.

But the moment I reached the front door to my room, I instantly activated the chip in my mind to make my body invisible and activated my Holy Power to make my body phase through walls for a short time and the moment I entered my room, I saw Souna and Rias staying inside there.

Shit!

Do I kill them?

I could do that, but… sigh, I guess I'll be gone from this universe for a good while.

'Okay Ddraig, say goodbye to this universe, we're going to another one shortly,' Ddraig soon got alerted and the moment he saw what was going on, he saw two people currently inside his room.

'Are they like your ex or something?' asked Ddraig.

'No, they are devils who infiltrated my home,' I responded back while sighing and appeared in a random forest.

'So what? Can't you just kill them?' asked Ddraig.

"No Ddraig, it isn't that simple, because if I did do that, it would put my family in danger and that's the only thing keeping me a bit mentally stable right now," I muttered while enlarging my lab back to its original size.

"So you still love your original family? I didn't expect that from you," said Ddraig as I entered my lab and went to store two pieces of hair inside a tube.

'What's that?' asked Ddraig.

"Souna and Rias's hair, I got it while I was inside my room," with that done, the room shrank back down to pocket size, and put it back inside my pocket.

'So what are we going to do next now that your home isn't safe?' asked Ddraig.

"Go to another reality of course," I said as I started to gather my mana to use the IDT spell.

'What next? Hunt some devils? Kill some angels? Grow in power?' asked Ddraig.

"I don't know, I'll just go where the wind takes me, besides, I'm still collecting data on the universes we are in," I muttered as a black and white magic circle appeared on top of us, enveloping my body whole in mana that is starting to distort the time and space around us.

'How does this spell even work? I've never heard of any spell that would allow one to do universal travel,' said Ddraig as the trees started to flutter with the wind pressure produced by my spell.

"I'll explain it to you later but it's not purely magic, in fact, this spell was based on a scientific formula I know of," I said as I started to control the magic circle and soon, we were in a spiral of black and white as fabrics of space-time bent to this spell of mine.

"Buckle up Ddraig, I'm trying to do something new here!" I shouted as I change a little bit of the destination, instead of going to a universe similar to this one, I want a little change, I don't know what will happen but the universe we should land in has a big difference compared to the one we have gone to.

So why didn't he kill Rias and Sona? Well due to his astronomical brain, he knows that this might bring some risks especially the strange things he noticed like how they seem to have full control over the school, or how Rias have crimson hair and from the books he read, a certain family has crimson hair and a special power, so put two and two together and bam, he knows that she is already Rias Gremory.
