It was a colder night than usual and something felt off, if only for a bit.

we are currently looking down at a house, white in colour and has 2 floors, hey why don't we get a closer look through a window.....ah there's one, now what do we have here.

in through the window you could see a monkey....wait no that's just a kid with a very creepy grin and he was wide awake, wow it's a school night aswell.

if you haven't guessed yet, its our protagonist, Akihito and he was currently staring at panel that had number on them and resembling a digital alarm clock.

Akihito : " just two minutes left"

why is he so fixated on the time right now....well that's simple, our protagonist has been in this world for approximately 1,459 days and tomorrow marks the 1,460th.

for those who are quick at maths you have already figured it out but the...not as quick- witted ones it means that Akihito is about to turn 4 years old and he's gonna get his quirk.

the panel finally showed that the next day has arrived and with that Akihito quickly refreshed his status screen to see what quirk he got.

Akihito : " what, where's my quirk....it should be here!"

Akihito shouted the last part because he was currently frustrated over all the hardships he had to go through the last year, because of what happened on his first day, the bullying didn't stop.

Akihito : " no no no NO! IT SHOULD BE HERE, WHY DONT I HAVE A QUIRK!"

the first time he shouted, it woke up his parents so when he did it again, they could hear what he was saying and walked to his room.

when they opened the door all they could see was Akihito crying and saying 'why don't I have a qurik' over and over again.

when Akihito finally noticed them he just cried even harder thinking that he could never protect then in his current state and now that he didn't even have a quirk...what worth was he.

his parents knew that their son would potentially not develop a qurik and with the fact that he still hadn't developed one in the first 3 years of his birth, they got ready with what might happen....they embraced him tightly.

both his mother and father were crying and not letting go of him.

Makiko : " it's alright Akihito even if you don't have a qurik well still love you....no matter what"

Makiko tried to say this with a straight face on but bits of her crumbling self was leaking out, making what she was saying even more depressing.

Isamu. : " your our son Akihito, that will never change"

his father was wearing a bright smile, making it seem like this was nothing to him but in truth he was worried for his son and what might happen to him in the future.

this went on for another half an hour untill all of them were so exhausted from all the crying, that they fell asleep except for Isamu who was carried his wife back to their bed and made sure Akihito was in his bed properly, only then did he close his eyes for the night.

~MORNING

Akihito exasperatedly woke up still felling the effect of staying up really late.

Akihito : " I guess I won't be staying up that late again "

he somehow managed to get on his feet and walk to the bathroom so that he could get ready for the day.

managing to get to the sink, he grabbed his toothbrush and toothpaste and started brushing his teeth, he did this for a solid 2 minutes and rinced his toothbrush before putting back in the cup.

when he was done, he looked to his left so that he could get down from his stool but he saw something Infront of him and stood there for moment or two trying to figure out what it was, he was still tired from the night before.

Akihito : " let's see...quest...find your quirk.....cool another quest"

Akihito stepped down from his stool and turned towards the door so he could go downstairs and get some breakfast in his stomach.

he took a few steps but stopped in the middle of one, almost as if he just froze, after another moment he turned his head back to the panel, looking at it intensely befor shouting out.

Akihito : " ....WHY DID I GET THIS JUST NOW!"

his parents and sister heard this from downstairs and shouted back to ask him if he was ok, Akihito shouted back that he was ok and he just stubbed his toe.

[Oliver was born at exactly [05:03:43] so this quest was only issued at this time today making you 4 years old ]

Akihito had a face that you'd make if someone just told you that humans derived from aliens not monkeys.

Akihito : " you have got to be kidding me, I had to go through something super serious last night because of your technicalities"

[I apologies for that Oliver, next time I shall tell you ahead of time]

Akihito : " ahhh forget it for now, earlier I thought I saw a time limit on the quest, show it to me again"

task : today is the day to get your quirk and all you have to do is have atleast 20 points in a specific stat, when the time limit is up you will get a quirk that is associated with that stat, good luck.

Akihito : ahhh I've already wasted two hours, I'm gonna start training now"

and so with that akahito asked his parents if he could stay at home for the day, which they both agreed to with what had happened last night.

Akihito started training again but this time he didn't stop when he got tired, no he keeped on going, putting more and more strain on his body with each meter he ran, with each push up he did and even when he heard weird clicks in his body that was soon followed up by immense pain, he didn't stop.

Akihito : " haaaaa.....haaaaa.....haaaaa"

[Oliver time limit for the quest will end in [30].[29].[28].

as Lia was counting down to the end of the time limit, Akihito crawled over in exruciating pain to his night stand so that he could open it and pull out a bag, he opened the bag and pulled out a green bean which he immediately put in his mouth and started chewing it before swallowing it.

this bag was full of senzu beans, 9 to be precise since he just ate one, he had it in his night stand because he didn't have an inventory to store it yet so he had to make do.

when Akihito swallowed the bean, his whole body started to heal all the strain away as if he had never even done any sort of training, it also gave him his strength back allowing him to stand up once again.

while he was training all day, he got tired pretty quickly so there was no way that he could've kept up the work for hours on end but he had some tricks up his sleeve and they were two things.

one of them being the stat points he was granted when he leveled up, this allowed him to put a few points into strength so that it isn't as hard to do the push ups, putting the rest as evenly as he could in the other stats.

and number two was something else he got whenever he would level up, that being.....status recover, yes we got some solo leveling references up in here.....yeah well they immediately recovered his fatigue to 0 and healed him at the same time.

but the most useful thing about the senzu beans was that depending how damaged you are and after using one it not only heals you but it gives you something called a zenkai boost, which to put it simply, basically gives you a boost in power or in this case.... boost in stats.

Akihito was looking at the panel and thought to himself ' I get to choose what quirk I get' and after his little fanboy freak out he went back to being calm.

Akihito : ' now let's see...foresight would let me see in the future but I already have that with the wish I made, mind control is powerfull for sure but I don't want to be like Hiroshi shinso and become isolated for having a villainous quirk so with those two being useless to me, that only leaves me with telekinesis'

Akihito raised his finger and moved it towards the screen Infront of him, when it reached the panel his finger was on the first option [telekinesis].

[Oliver has chosen option number 1 [telekinesis] as his quirk]

with his mind made up, Akihito pressed the accept button with his monkey grin back on his face.
