The Maids and Lucifer's alchemy

After reaching their destination, they walk out of the ship. Leyla immediately saw a huge gate. It was bigger than the Palace of Marvicke Empire.

The gate was gold with a little bit of black and made of materials even she didn't know.

The gate itself is the pattern, like an unending tail of a dragon that exudes majestic elegance.

Even though there were holes in the pattern, no one could see through the holes.

The strange pattern starts from the center of the gate. It was a coiling tail of a dragon. It traces like a vein towards the wall. Every end of a pattern is different. It was like the tails of different dragons. Some with terrifying spikes, some with stones, and some ends are just pointed.

The walls that are as tall as the gate and stretch as far as her sight could reach and are made of black stone that flickers now and then like a starry sky.

When Lucifer was still miles from the gate, it opened by itself like a sentient door.

After entering the gate, it was like a different world for Leyla.

What she saw was a vast land and at the far center was an extremely huge mansion that was taller than the gates she saw. It was a contrasting sight from the gates yet it fitted perfectly.

It cannot be described as a palace or castle, just a mansion.

It has modern architecture that only has 9 floors but each floor was separated kilometers from the other.

Drones can be seen flying around.

A garden can also be seen from the gates, it has all kinds of flowers she knows and even more kinds that she didn't know. It was a dream garden for every person who loves flowers.

Some walls of the mansion were built in transparent glass so it can be seen from the outside.

It was a sight to behold for Leyla.

As they got closer to the mansion, four maids could be seen standing at the entrance.

The first maid from the left has golden hair that reaches her ass with a pair of cat ears and a golden tail.

She is Hela. She has a cute and charming face with bountiful breasts, her golden eyes contain wildness like a lion and a playful cat, it sparkled as Lucifer got closer.

Beside her is Shina. She has a neutral expression. Her inky hair touches her shoulders and her deep red eyes can mesmerize any man she meets.

Her voluptuous body can be seen even while wearing a maid uniform.

Even though she is expressionless Leyla could still feel her excitement after seeing Lucifer.

The other Maid on the right was Amia, the head maid. She has an intellectual look, her onyx eyes behind her glasses sparkled with intelligence.

Her raven hair was tied in a bun and her breasts, which is the biggest among the four, were proudly prodding out which makes her cleavage stand out.

The last maid beside Amia was Cia. She has jade white skin like the other three but is different from them, she has a black tattoo pattern that traces from the back of her hands to her chin.

Her amber hair flows down and touches her ass.

Her captivating body and face adding her jade eyes and her smiling expression can melt even the coldest man.

"Welcome home Master,"

All four of them bow down when Lucifer and Leyla reach them.

Lucifer nodded his head in acknowledgment.

"Bring Leyla with all of you and prepare the alchemy room, I will go there after picking up some precious herbs on the third floor," Lucifer ordered the maids.

"Yes, master" The four maids bowed their heads again before teleporting.

Leyla did not say anything since entering the gate and just followed the four maids.

Lucifer chose to pick the Immortal-grade herbs himself because the herbs he needed were close to a certain divine flower that must not be disturb.

After picking the required herbs, he went straight into the alchemy room.

The four maids bowed again and they stood quietly in the corner while a huge cauldron was resting in the center of the room.

"Leyla, consume the qi inside this stone" Lucifer gave her a stone that emits a huge amount of Qi.

"Maldixite rock.." Leyla muttered after seeing the crimson glowing stone. It was a stone that can store a huge amount of Qi and can only be found in a Time whirlpool.

She was shocked because only Demi-God realm experts can get this from a Time whirlpool. At his present cultivation, it was impossible unless he had his previous treasury.

"I will first create a body for you and I will concoct two pills afterward. The Soul Integration pill and Everlasting Qi pill. One will help you to fuse with your new body and the other will help you restore a quarter of your cultivation." Lucifer explained as a Jet black flame came out of his hand. It was exuding both destruction and creation.

Leyla was immediately dumbfounded just with the flame. It was pure black and it did not emit a single light. She can feel a wildness and gentleness that both stay in equilibrium like her Lord Lucifer.

Everyone from the Demi-God Realm only knew Sword Emperor Hodus as an unrivaled Swordmaster. Only a few people knew that he is also extremely proficient in alchemy and Leyla was one of them. No one knew who the person that spread that Hodus is also proficient in alchemy.

Leyla never saw him concoct a pill or rather, No one ever saw him concocting a pill thus some people who knew his expertise in alchemy think that it was only a rumor.

But now that she is seeing him concoct a pill. She was beyond shocked.

His hand moved so fast yet in a rhythmic pattern as if he was encompassing an orchestra.

The burning cauldron was the instrument while the fiery flame is the hands that stroke the instrument gently, the ingredients are the notes, and the pill that is the combination of all of them was the heavenly melody.

She was mesmerized, even the maid's eyes sparkled with delight as Lucifer rarely concoct a pill.

Leyla's heartbeat thumps and sways in rhythm with the flame.

His alchemy technique was different from the others. Every movement might look unnecessary but all of them are important and were fitted for the eyes to feast.

It was Elegant and full of care.

He moves not to please the people watching but to please the pill in extremely fast yet so serene and gentle movements. It's like he was playing an instrument for the newborn pill.

Just by watching, even though the maids and Leyla can barely follow, they were learning profound knowledge about alchemy. It's like he is teaching them how to concoct a pill.

Unlike others who concoct with people watching in mind, to prove to others that they know alchemy they make many unnecessary movements while making it more sophisticated to prevent anyone from learning their alchemy technique.

Several hours have passed and Leyla and the maids' eyes still sparkled with enlightenment.

Lucifer already threw away a million herbs and precious metals. Yet still, continue to throw out thousands of herbs every second.

Minutes passed and turned into hours.

It has been one day since he started concocting.

The beauties that were watching were still mesmerized as their eyes glowed with profound knowledge about alchemy.

The maids were always watching Lucifer concoct his pills so their alchemic mastery even surpasses some immortals while Leyla who doesn't know alchemy started to know how to concoct mortal grade pills but of course knowledge is still different from experience. It only gave her an advantage when concocting pills.

Another hour is about to pass when Lucifer slows down. He trickled nine drops of his blood and took out the silver wood that Leyla absorbed and another silver branch that is bigger than the other.

'Does he have another branch? Just what is with that lower realm? Is that lower realm connected to the Forest of Dryad??!' Leyla suspects in her mind.

"Leyla, give me a part of your soul and soul essence" Lucifer broke her thoughts.

Leyla gulped and nodded nervously but she still began extracting a part of her soul.

She instantly felt an intense pain that made her want to die.

Separating a part of a soul is not easy. It is extremely hard and painful. Not even pills can help to alleviate the pain. It was a million times more painful than a nut cracking.

"Here, absorb this pill. This will help your soul to expand so you can have more ease in extracting a part of your soul" Lucifer said while giving her a pill after seeing her pained expression.

After a few minutes, she extracted a part of her soul which made her soul weak and vulnerable.

She put the soul in the cauldron and proceeded to extract her soul essence which further weakened her. She felt that she might disintegrate any moment.

"I'm sorry if you have to go through this, but there is no other safe method I know other than this" Lucifer said after seeing her dim and exhausted astral form that can't even speak and can only emit a single trace of light denoting her acknowledgment.

Leyla can't respond as she is close to slumbering. She wanted to say thank you because even if this is painful there is still a chance for her to have a new body.

Not even Demi-God can create a new body for her that will perfectly unite his body and soul. They can only make immortal bodies for her to possess.

It is different from creating the same body as her previous body because even a soul cultivator cannot completely integrate their soul with another body. They can only possess them, and possessing them means just taking control of their body, they just control it but they do not own it. They cannot ascend to the Demi-God realm without a powerful Soul Cultivation if they only possessed a body.
