Trapped in your spells

Eve blinked continuously at him, her emerald eyes gazing at him affectionately and with a touch of apprehension. She swallowed nervously as he approached her, His fangs emerged from his mouth, gleaming white and dangerously sharp. As he drew nearer to her vulnerable neck, Eve tensed and took a sharp breath, gripping his shoulders tightly. "How much will this hurt?" she asked, her hands still clutching onto him. His deep red eyes locked onto her green ones, strands of water cascading down his hair, tracing lines across his face. He resembled a divine figure, a male deity. His left hand slid down to her waist, pulling her closer, leaning in towards her neck, gently inhaling the scent. This caused Eve to shiver slightly, her grip on him tightening. "It may sting at first," he whispered softly, slowly rubbing his nose against her neck, "but the pain will only last for a fleeting moment. After that, it will fade away."

chapter 17

Eve heard murmurs in the distance, unfamiliar voices that she couldn't quite recognize. These whispers belonged to girls who seemed to be from her past, which puzzled her in her sleep. How could they be here? She was supposed to be alone with Ethan.

Suddenly, Eve's eyes shot open as if she had just had a nightmare. She glanced around the room and realized that she was in the same bedroom where she had once woken up as a ten-year-old child. However, the room had undergone some changes and now had a more sophisticated, adult-like design.

"Milady, you're awake," a young voice said, and when Eve looked towards the source, her eyes widened in disbelief. The person who had spoken bore a striking resemblance to Seraphina, but much younger.

"Seraphina?" Eve called out softly, as if unsure if it was really her.

The young maid looked puzzled. "Milady, who's this Seraphina you speak of?"

The young maid looked at Eve in confusion,"Milady I am your loyal servant Anette and this is maria,we have both served you since childhood there's no person under the name seraphina." Anette said.

Eve nodded lightly, she didn't even know who she was in this time as it seem she had traveled back in time." Annette, can you remind me who I am." Eve asked.

Annette's eyes widened in concern. "Milady, you are Lady Evelyn, the daughter of Lord and Lady Sinclair. You have always been kind and compassionate, with a heart full of love for all those around you."

Eve felt a sense of relief wash over her as Annette spoke. Despite not remembering her own identity in this strange moment, hearing Annette's words resonated deep within her. She knew that she must have been a good person, someone worthy of loyalty and respect.

" what year is this."? Eve asked.

Annette frowned lightly what had happens to the young Miss,Annette turned to Maria who stood with her head low,"Maria make lady Evelyn a cup of tea."

Maria nodded and quickly moved to prepare the soothing beverage. Annette took a deep breath, her expression filled with concern. "Milady, it's the year 1825," she replied softly, watching for any signs of recognition in Eve's eyes.

As Maria returned with the steaming cup of tea, Eve accepted it gratefully, breathing in the familiar, comforting scent. The warmth of the tea felt reassuring in her hands as she sipped it slowly, the taste triggering a distant memory of simpler times.

Eve's mind raced, trying to make sense of the inexplicable situation. How had she ended up in the past, in a time that seemed centuries away from her own? The whispers, the unfamiliar surroundings, and the absence of Ethan only deepened the mystery surrounding her predicament.

"Milady," Annette spoke softly, breaking the silence. "You've been unwell for the past few days. It seems as though you've been through quite a lot. Perhaps it would be wise for you to rest and regain your strength."

Eve nodded, feeling the weight of exhaustion and confusion weighing heavily on her. "Yes," she agreed with Annette, almost immediately a gentle knock came from the door, interrupting their conversation. Annette turned to open it, Revealing a young maid.

"Milady, young Lord Ethan church has paid you a visit." The maid said keeping her head low out of respect.

Eve almost sprang out of the bed,she guessed it might be Ethan from her time , even though she doesn't know his last name or the fact that he was a lord in the past.

 "where is he."? Eve asked.

The maid replied," Milady he is at the garden of morning glory."

Eve's heart raced with anticipation as she quickly made her way towards the garden of morning glory. She felt a surge of hope, hoping that this Ethan would have the answers she desperately sought.

As she entered the garden, Eve's eyes scanned the area, searching for any sign of Ethan. And then, she saw him.

This Ethan looked quite young than the Ethan she was used to ,he wore adashing and sophisticated attire, befitting of a lord. He was dressed in a deep red, velvet coat that hugged his slim figure perfectly. The coat had intricate gold embroidery along the cuffs and collar, adding a touch of opulence to his appearance. Underneath, he wore a crisp white shirt, perfectly pressed and adorned with a lace cravat tied neatly at his neck. His black pants were tailored to perfection, accentuating his long legs.

But it was his eyes that caught Eve's attention the most. As their gazes met, she was immediately drawn to his intense, piercing stare. His eyes were a deep crimson red, a striking contrast against his fair and flawless complexion. They shone with a mysterious allure, revealing his true nature as a vampire.

Eve's heart skipped a beat as she approached him, her steps cautious yet filled with longing. She couldn't explain the connection she felt towards this vampire, but as she stood before him, she knew she had to find out more.

"Ethan," she called out, her voice resonating with a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

He walked over to her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Evelyn," he replied, his voice smooth and melodic. "I've been waiting for you."

Eve couldn't help but be transfixed by his presence. This vampire version of Ethan exuded an aura of power and elegance, captivating her with every move he made. She could sense a hidden depth to him, a complexity that both intrigued and frightened her.
