After they had finished their meal, the group sat around the dying embers of the campfire, the comforting warmth slowly fading as the morning light grew stronger. Gray, feeling the effects of a hearty breakfast, stretched his arms out wide, letting out a long, contented yawn. The sound echoed in the quiet of the woods, and he rubbed his eyes before standing up with a grin.
"Alright, time for me to train," he said with a determined smile, already thinking ahead to the drills and exercises he had planned for himself.
Liza, who had been watching him closely, raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "But aren't you good enough already?" she asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice. She knew Gray was powerful, and his skills with a little strength magic and swordsmanship had already impressed her many times.
