Chapter 64: Practice Match

After learning about Cedric's secret, Shun somehow became wary of him at the same time decided to observe first before jumping into conclusion

After a few weeks have passed the class has conducted a practice match for the students so that they can atleast show the result of their training in the combat class subject

At such everyone casually glance at Sephiria for the reason to fight her in order to win easily

Unknown to the students Shun was actually smiling evilly behind the crowd as he imagined the shock faces of the students upon seeing Sephiria's monstrous magical power and attack power

"Uhm... . . Shun?" Called out Aria

"Yes?"

"Your smile... . . It's kind of creepy" said Aria

"I'm hurt you know" pouted Shun

"Well it is creepy in my perspective" said Yuumi who was currently sleeping on top of Shun's head

Apparently the news about Shun being a summoner has spread far and wide as they learned about Yuumi being Shun's summon

Due to Yuumi's cuteness, many girls begun to surround her as they promoted Shun to hand her over during the week

This time a group of girls approached Shun

"Shun?"

"So many girls!!! Is it my spring already? Or am I popular?" Muttered Shun to himself

"Can I borrow Yuumi?!?!"

Expecting those words to come out, he openly handed Yuumi to the girls as faked some tears

Hearing his sarcastic remark, Yuumi's eyes became dotted for a reason as she glared at Shun and tried to scratch his face

"You... . .your faking your cough!!!"

But before Yuumi could give him a retort, the girls immediately pulled her away and went far from him

With that event Yuumi cried out in pure anguish

"MAAASSSTTTEEERRR!!!! YOU SOLD ME OUT!!! I'LL NEVER GONNA LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!"

on the other hand Shun completely ignored her as he focused on Aria

"So what are going to do again?" Asked Shun

"HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!"

"Um... . . Shun Yuumi is shouting for help" said Aria

"Who?" Said shun with a wry smile

"SAVE MEEEE!!!!"

"Yuumi! She needs... . ."

"Who!?!?!?!?" Insisted Shun

"NOT THE TAIL! PLEASE NOT THE AHHH!!!"

"... . . No never mind, let's look at the current bout" said Aria as she noticed that Shun purposely gave Yuumi away

"Exactly! That's what I like about you Aria, always on the point and see what is more important" praised Shun

"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or... . ."

"Compliment! Take it as a compliment" insisted Shun

"R... Right!"

At the same time as Yuumi getting attacked by the group of three girls like a ravaged zombies, the other students were thoroughly speechless at the current situation on the arena stage

On one side was a Andrew one of the classmates of Shun and one could say that he's the cool type of guy as he often saw him together with the other class such as the Delta-class girls and some Alpha-class girls, like some super popular handsome guy

But this time the whole class was shock as Andrew the super popular guy in their class was being pushed back by Sephiria with just pure firepower of spell

"No! How could this happen?!?! This should be just an easy fight! How did you become so strong?" Asked Andrew as he was battered up from head to toe due to the strength of Sephiria's spells

In return Sephiria simply smiled charmingly at such it mesmerized at the same time charmed the other boys

"Well I did my best to improve and cause of that I've grown stronger right?" Said Sephiria as she lovingly smiled

Seeing her lovely expression all the girls stiffened in place while the boys seemed struck by her cuteness

Unexpectedly the super popular guy named Andrew replied a word which he didn't expect to come out of his mouth due to the situation

"R... Right! Your... . . So Cute"

As if that praise was nothing, Sephiria simply took it as a compliment as she sent out her oversized fireball causing a huge explosion to rise up and covered the whole room with dust

After seeing that display Aria suddenly exclaimed

"Whoa! Sephiria is so strong"

"I know especially that charm spell, with this it is likely she will have a fanclub, followed by many lined up suitors" said Shun

"Whoa! I'm so jealous" said Aria

"Well I'm not" said Shun flatly

"Of course your not! Your a boy!"

"That why I'm not" said Shun with a smile

After that Sephiria simply bowed and left the arena, while some boys stole glances at her while heading for Andrews direction

"Bro! Are you okay?"

"How are you doing?"

"Bro?"

In all of this outward concern, Andrew suddenly muttered in reply which only they can hear

"I... I think I'm in love"

"Huh!?!?!"

When Sephiria returned due to habit back at her house and upon seeing such reaction of happiness in anime shows, she instinctually jumped in and hugged Shun with all her might as she giggled

For Shun however he was only expecting a kind high five from her, so this unexpected interaction was a surprise for him which made him blush so much that his face turned red

Due to that everyone in class fell silent due to that sudden too much skin interaction between them

Cause of that some girls begun to form a gossip about their relationship, while the boys begun to plan on how to take Sephiria away from Shun

As for Aria she simply cupped her hands over her mouth and blushed beet red

"Oi! Are you okay?" Asked Shun

Unexpectedly Sephiria whispered so much that only both of them can hear

"Did you saw that?"

"Yeah!" Replied Shun out of instincts

"So how was it?"

"It was amazing! Even though that last attack could've have killed someone if not for the safety precautions" said Shun

"Idiot! Welp it's all thanks to you... . . Thank you"

Hearing that Shun somehow could feel her gratitude even though he can't see her face since it's buried on his chest

As if reading his mind Sephiria looked up and smiled wide as tears of gratitude can be seen in the corner of her eyes

At that expression Shun simply carrassed her head and wiped her tears as he smiled back

"Well you did great" praised Shun

Seeing them act like that, all the girls begun to blush for some reason and started a gossip which will spread all over the campus

As for the boy's since it was clearly they were smitten with Sephiria due to this event, they were all glaring at Shun as if seeing him as the biggest obstacle for them

While for Yuumi she took a picture of them embracing each other in a recording crystal from who knows where she took it

Noticing that all the class attention was on them, both Shun and Sephiria suddenly realized what they're doing and immediately blushed as they quickly separated from each other

As for the instructor who was by no means wasn't affected at all, he simply called out Shun towards the arena followed by another guy named Leo

Upon entering the arena both Sephiria and Aria begun cheering for him, while the boy's squad begun cheering for Leo

"Shun! You can do it!" Cheered Aria

"Show them what you can do!" Cheered Sephiria

"Destroy him Leo" said one the boys

"Make him regret for touching my Sephiria!" Said the other

"What the!?!?! Your??? She's mine... . . Well whatever block his ass!!!"

Hearing that Shun couldn't help.but smile wryly from their cheers

"So your Shun! I'll break your bones so that you wouldn't be able to hold Sephiria anymore" said the guy named Leo

In reply to that Shun simply said

"Uh! Okay! Do your best! Fighting! Good luck! Whatever!... . . I got nothing"
