Chapter 139: Aquasphere

[Kingdom of Avalon]

Taking some time to actually explain things towards Mordred who had a one straight forward mindset, both Iris and Sephiria then told them what they did and plan for the day

Of course the topic included about their plan to actually visit the famous treasure of the kingdom of Avalon "Aquasphere", naturally when Merlin, Mordred, Lionel, and Diva heard them they were a little bit hesitant, before Merlin gave a sigh and complied kindly

With that arrangement falling unto Merlin's responsibility, the group then headed straight towards the place where their national treasure is stored

Soon after they then arrived at the building complex near the kingdom's castle, in fact the building doesn't differ that much to an ordinary castle, much more the castle and the building where they store their national treasure was almost identical in terms of appearance and size

If some tourist were to ever get near of this place, they would surely either mistake the two properties, or consider them as a twin castle

Just like this kingdom's castle, the guards of the building where they store their national treasure was totally guarded both inside and outside

If one were to investigate the number of people guarding the national treasure, they would then realize that the guards or knights numbered about 150 inside the building, while having 50 elite Aqua force members working together with the knights to guard their treasure

Normally no one was allowed to enter such premises other than the royalty or their guest, but with Merlin's identification, they were then led inside the buying premises by the guards while having surveillance all around them

Such surveillance included phantom monitoring, gods view, oracle sight, mana observance, and especially danger senses

Naturally when Merlin was questioned by one of their own members in the force, he then essentially took some time for him to convince the others that we were not a spy from some hostile country

Of course much deliberation wasting needed to discuss which then took about 45 minutes of discussion between Merlin and his other force mates

Eventually they then permitted Shun, Akito, Sephiria, and Iris to take a look at the national treasure

Well of course they naturally let the four guest in without a hassle, since the other force mates inside the building was confident enough to take the four of them down, when something suspicious arises from them

Truth be told many from the Aqua force members are strong enough to take down both Akito and Shun in a close combat quarters, much more towards Sephiria and Iris who were much more weaker than the first duo

With that Merlin then approached them with a smile as he said

"Well anyway! We've been granted permission, so how about you guys follow me inside... I'll show you something wonderful"

Hearing him all of them naturally followed his footsteps as they headed further inside the building with anticipation printed unto their faces

Soon enough they then came before a huge door, which was then opened slowly by some guards which showed a huge spherical gem like orb situated at the center of the spacious room

If one were to see such a scenery, they would immediately deemed such object as the natural treasure of the kingdom

"The Aquasphere!"

Soon after they then took a whole round trip around it as all of them looked straight at the figure of the kingdom of Avalon's national treasure

After that Merlin stopped unto his tracks as he said

"Well what do you think? Beautiful isn't it? This is our pridest treasure locked up in this insconpecious building which had the same height of the castle itself"

Upon stating that, everyone then once again took a closer looked at the two storied height of a aqua blue sphere right infront of them, before making their words or statements according to it

"It is! It is truly beautiful, no wonder it is a national treasure... but no matter where you look at it, it is truly impossible to steal such a huge object without being noticed right? So whats this all security around the area?" Asks Akito

"Yeah! Whats this exaggerated amount of people hiding in the shadows? Isn't this security a bit to tight for something so hard to steal?" Added Shun

Upon hearing their conjecture Merlin, Lionel, and Diva were quite surprised by the sensitivity of both akito and Shun's senses towards their surroundings

They don't know exactly when they had noticed the people hiding in the shadows, but their swnsing ability is truly top notch

With that Merlin replied

"Its not too exaggerated! In fact... such process of guarding is appropriate for such treasure, after all despite looking like that this national treasure the aquasphere is powered by magical energy, meaning it can use magic ranging from catastrophic to basic type of magic"

Hearing him both Akito and Shun then looked towards Merlin in confusion while pondering om what he said

"Can use magic? Like a heroic artifact? After all based on histories foretold by our ancestors, such a tool is nonetheless a heroic artifact used by a hero of the past" said Akito

"Does that mean that by utilizing the mana stored inside that sphere, one could even alter its size?" Asked Merlin

"Maybe! I don't know! After all no one actually even dared to do such a thing before under the eyes of many hidden enemies" shrugged Merlin

With that both Shun and Akito simply nodded in understanding as they glanced towards Diva, Iris, and Sephiria who were mainly in a girls group

But after a few seconds of looking at them, all four of the guys in the group suddenly felt that something was amiss or missing in that numbering

Not soon after, as if the mystery had been answered Mordred suddenly popped out on the middle of their group seemingly curious to why the guys were glancing towards the girls direction with a confused look

"Hey! Whatcha guys looking?"

Hearing her voice, everyone then immediately turned their heads towards their center and saw Mordred seemingly blending into their group

"Um... why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be with those girls?" Asked Lionel while keeping up a prideful gaze

Hearing his question Mordred simply replied

"Why would I be there? Girls talk is so boring, I better off being with the guys who like actions rather than dress up"

Upon hearing her Merlin, Mordred, Shun, and akito were completely flabbergasted by her answer
