Chapter 129: Trip Towards Another Kingdom

Volume 4 Aquasphere

[Kartrik City, Duke's Territory]

Upon returning in the Duke Alan's territory or other words such as Sephiria's parents place, both Shun and Sephiria then glanced at the familiar scenery that they haven't seen for quite awhile

Along with that the carriage that they were currently riding on was specifically arranged to bring them straight to her parent's manor at the top of some hill in their territory

After some while of the ride inside the carriage they had then finally arrived at the familiar manor that they've once spend time living in it

Upon exiting both Duke Alan and his wife Cecile immediately welcomed both Sephiria and Shun who had just arrived from the Gritonnia Academy grounds

"Daughter! My lovely Sephiria! How was the Academy? Did their treatment still the same despite you yourself improving?"

Hearing that Sephiria smiled as she replied

"Nope! I've made some few friends along the way, with Shun's help! I was able to experience something I haven't experience before"

"I see... everything did change! You have my gratitude Shun Kurosaki!" Said Duke Alan

With that Shun gently smiled as he said

"The pleasures all mine! In fact its all Sephiria's effort! Due to her... the treatment towards her had changed, also her grades along the line of magic practicality had also improved"

Hearing that Cecile then interjected

"Speaking of improvement! I saw you through the projected screen that was broadcasted across the kingdom, especially your performance, I've gotta say... you really surprised us again and again in that competition!"

"Indeed! Every battle was breathtaking!" Added Duke Alan

"Fufu! If only you could see the reaction of the people in this territory upon witnessing the feat you've made! They were all truly stunned to the max" said Cecile

"In fact your magic is truly an art of war type! Including the other two contestants, unfortunately you were born in the wrong era" said Duke Alan

Hearing all that Shun was slightly taken aback by that sudden praise including his rising fame, as he could clearly see Sephiria laughing by the side

But nevertheless he was quite happy to have them being proud of him for some reason

After quite awhile of greeting Duke Alan then led the two of them towards their living room as he called out towards his maids to fetch some drinks for them

Accordance to him the maids immediately went to their duties as they fetched what the Duke had asked

As for that only Duke Alan, his wife Cecile, Sephiria, and Shun were left in the room

Some time passed the drinks then finally arrived as the maid gave all of them some cups and poured out a fresh tea on them, as for both Shun and Sephiria they had some additional juice drinks alongside their tea

As if that wasn't enough some biscuits were also pulled out towards them which made their snacks fulfilling

With that Duke Alan then said

"Putting your incredible performance aside! I would like for the both of you to change up your luggage and prepare for another departure"

Hearing that Sephiria asked

"Departure? But we just got here!"

"I know! But the king himself has ordered us to go to a specific place in advance to prepare for their coming, in fact the king himself have some urgent business to attend to that specific place" said Duke Alan

"As a Duke of this kingdom, it is naturally normal for me to prepare in advance for such trip" added Duke Alan

When he finished speaking Sephiria then asked

"If that is the case why are going too? And where are we going?"

"The reason why I'm bringing you along is because I heard that the place where we headed is especially beautiful in terms of entertainment, luxury, and scenery" said Duke Alan

"With accordance to that im pretty sure you've already know of this place dear! Since after all you've being seeing this place through the pictures of some advertisements in the capital" added Cecile

In that moment Sephiria's eyes buldge in surprise

"Dont tell me!!!"

"Yup! The kingdom of Avalon, their capital near the seaside shoreline, which hosted to have the most precious flower called aqua rose, and the the most beautiful treasure with mysterious origin called Aquasphere!" Confirmed by Sephiria's mother Cecile

"Along side that! They also have the strongest navy in all kingdom's and empites combined with their soldiers and fleet named as Aqua force, intimidating isn't it?" Pointed out Duke Alan

In that moment Sephiria was so elated as she couldn't believe that she was going to another place in another kingdom, much that such kingdom was popular

But as for Shun he couldn't help but smile at such happy family as just planned to go along the flow of the events

With that done they then spent their time in idle inside the manor as they prepared for their departure time

About 2 days after that since they arrived, they were finally packed up and ready to go as various knights pulled out the carriage their going to use to travel towards their kingdom's port

Of course everyone was excited for the trip especially Sephiria who packed up several bags along the way, unfortunately Shun had to carry all of them to the carriage since he's a guy and Sephiria's boyfriend

Luckily Duke Alan was also in the same situation as his wife Cecile actually brought about four filled to the brim luggage and made him carry it all to the carriage

Seeing their similarity, Duke Alan couldn't help but laugh at their situation

But for Cecile who wa she mother of Sephiria, she suddenly noticed something unusual as she scrutinized her gaze and suddenly asked Shun

"Um... Shun? Why are you carrying Sephiria's bags?"

Hearing that Shun then nonchalantly answered her question which then brought a commotion

"Oh that? Well Sephiria and I are already dating! In fact she's my girlfriend!"

Upom stating that a sudden silence reverbrated out on the field as everyone was shocked by that revelation

In fact one could even hear a pin drop from somewhere due to the silence, but nevertheless such news immediately drew everyone's attention as Cecile crossed her arms over her chest with somewhat interested gaze

"Oh my!"

On the other hand Duke Alan expression suddenly turned vicious and scary along with his knights as he called out for the butler

"Someone get me my sword!"

I that moment shun was immediately alerted by the situation as he was shocked by this sudden change in event

But nevertheless before he could escape Duke Alan immediately grabbed unto his shoulder as he said

"Shun! You've got some guts trying to steal my daughter from me! How about lets have some man to man talk?"

"Wa!!!.... help! Help me! Heeelppp! Yuumi help!" Reacted Shun as he suddenly felt chills run down his spine but nevertheless a pop up in the system suddenly said something which indicated Yuumi will

Few moments later a scream so loud was then heard throughout the manor

With word length of about 1000 - 1500 and 2000 if I have the time
