Hard Armored

Kazuya was on his room at the inn. Haruhime was with Tsubaki now so he was alone. He was thinking about his quest objective, destroying Evilus.

"From what I know Astraea familia is still not disbanded so Rudra familia should still be planning their attack. But I don't know when they will attack Ryuu and others, not like I can stop them or...can I?" he muttered to himself while looking up the ceiling.

'I really want to prevent 'that' disaster from happening. But I don't know if I can destroy the Rudra familia singlehandedly. I mean, Ryuu did it...from what I know. Sigh...maybe I should start attacking now? Since if the Rudra familia is destroyed, Evilus will be no more since they are the only famila left as the other familia was long destroyed year's ago.' he thought, 'I'll need to quicken my pace again. I need to go deeper in the dungeon for more points and with that I can buy more abilities to help me' with that in mind, he soon fell asleep.

The next day, after Kazuya did his morning hygiene he quickly put on his armor and got his sword. Then he directly went to the dubgeon, he just brought his break fast with him which was a sandwich he prepared earlier.

Today his goal was to delve deeper. It was a bit more difficult for him as although he was strong enough to rival a lvl 5 adventurer, he is still alone. With him fighting swarms of monsters alone, he would naturally be exhausted too.

With that in mind, he steeled himself again. With his sword he quickly cut off through the monsters of the lower floor. He didn't even bother collecting the magic stones as the DC he get is enough for him.

Besides, he still has many valis in his inventory. His pace was faster now since he didn't bother picking the magic stones.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Now currently Kazuya was in the 10th floor of the dungeon. There was a mist covering the floor hindering the sight, luckily he has his monster hunter skill which has a passive of detecting monsters.

So the mist didn't hinder him much. He traverse it easily. Of course he encountered monsters too. Like the one in front of Kazuya, a large monster, an orc.

There is a group of them in front of him, based on what his skill detected. He gripped his longsword tightly and dashed. Of course he was also using his body reinforcement magic.

Within a second he already appeared in front of one of the orcs. With the longsword in his hand, he swung it upward beheading the orc. Without pause, Kazuya arrived near another orc.

Before it can react he already slashed his sword horizontally cutting it in half. By now the other orcs already reacted and they all attack him.

Bam! Bam!

Their fists aimed for Kazuya but he blocked using his sword. Then he pushed then away full force, making the orcs stagger a bit. With that chance Kazuya slaughtered them quickly.

Then he continued on, today he wants to reach Rivira In floor 18. Of course he still wouldn't be fighting the Goliath. Well...maybe he wont, since it's probably killed already by some familia.

Swish! Swoosh!

While continuing on he continued killing monsters on the way since they attack him while he's running. He also encountered adventurers struggling a bit but he ignored them and continued on.

Floor 12, Kazuya encountered one of the most troublesome monster in the upper floors. It An armadillo like monster that has a hard shell. It called Hard armored, since it has the highest defensive ability on the upper floor.

"Oh well, if other adventurers encounter this they would most likely just run. But I have a technique perfect for killing you even with that hard shell of yours" He smirked and helpd his sword tightly, "This will be the first time I use this technique against an opponent"

He ran in a fast speed and pulled back his right arm which tightly held his sword and when he arrived in front of the monster, he thrusted his sword towards it in a swift manner.

Swoosh! Bang! Roar!

The Hard armored roared in anguish. The thrust of Kazuya's sword created winds and cleared up some of the mist surrounding the monster.

And there it is, his sword was in the monsters head as it created a hole in it. He smiled feeling satisfied.

The form he used earlier was a technique most suitable for killing or damaging heavily opponents with strong defense. It is because the technique uses the concentrated force at the tip of the sword.

So when he thrusted his sword, it easily punctured the monster's head. Kazuya watched as the monster disappeared in to black smoke.

After which he stored its nagic stone and left the scene. He continued on again in a fast manner. And soon he passed the 12th floor and reach the 13th floor.

"So this is the 13th floor?" Kazuya muttered as he marvelled at the sight.
