Su Luo chuckled. "Don't make yourself sound so pitiful. I promise you, okay?" With that, she picked up another box with her gown in it and walked toward the changing room.

Five minutes later, Su Luo came out of the changing room. Huo Chen's eyes were filled with amazement when he saw her. The woman before him was wearing a burgundy gown, an open shoulder design that reveals Su Luo's exquisite and perfect collarbone. The gown was designed to shrink the waist, accentuating Su Luo's slim and graceful figure. The hem of the dress fell to her knees, and her slender snow-white legs were faintly discernible as she walked. The burgundy dress complimented her fair skin and gave her an elegant temperament.

"Luoluo, you're so beautiful!" Huo Chen praised sincerely.

Su Luo's face was slightly red. "Brother Huo, don't tease me. Aren't we going to the party? Let's go quickly."

When Su Luo got into Huo Chen's passenger seat, she felt a little embarrassed when she recalled what had happened back then while she was here. When they arrived at the party hotel, many luxury cars were parked outside the hotel entrance. The daughters and sons of various wealthy families also came one after another.

In the banquet hall, the guests gathered, drinking and exchanging pleasantries. The men held onto their champagnes and talked enthusiastically, while the ladies were grouped with people they knew, gossiping about the upper-class society.

Su Luo held Huo Chen's hand as they walked into the banquet hall. The moment they appeared, all the guests turned to look at them. As the two were talking, there was another commotion at the party's entrance. Su Luo looked over and saw that Chu Dongfeng had brought his female companion here. His female companion was none other than Su Luo's former best friend, Jiang Xi. Jiang Xi's appearance was delicate looking, giving off a gentle look. She was the type that men loved very much.

Jiang Xi was dressed in a small green gown. The makeup on her face was very light. Standing beside the tall Chu Dongfeng, she looked even more petite. When she saw Su Luo, Jiang Xi pulled Chu Dongfeng over to greet her. "Luoluo, Feifei, you're here too?"
