The auction house was quite full when they arrived, Ringo had been right about them being fashionably late.
She heard the whispers when she walked in holding Muyang's hand with that pink diamond ring on her finger glistening brightly. Nobody could resist taking a look at her hand once they realized who she was.
Even today, the ring was still the talk of the city on and offline. She noticed some jealous looks, some envious looks and some angry looks but she paid them no mind.
Instead she tightened her hold on Muyang's hand and smiled proudly.
One of the auction house workers led them to a private room where an attendant was waiting to cater to them and also place their bids.
"This auction takes place once every five years, what do they do with the place for the remainder of the time?"
"It's a show room for painters and exhibitors. The Hua auction may take place once every five years but other auctions are held monthly and yearly.
