Soul merge

"Lets merge our souls first..." Leon said to Liz.

"Yes, my lord." Liz answered.

" So, how is this process done?" Leon asked him.

"It's simple, I will be the one to merge with your soul so it's as easy as doing daily thing." Liz answered.

"Then start the merging process now." Leon ordered him.

"Okay..." Liz answered and began to chant in a mysterious language that Leon could somehow understand.

"o great entity up there, I, the son of Azel, the great necromancer of underworld's commander, swears my loyalty and my soul to Leon, the reincarnation of my lord Azel. Please accept my call and grant me the permission. May the great entity be worshipped." After the chanting was

over, a sudden neon light emerged out of no where and turned into a thing like a rope and grabbed the soul of Leon and Liz, The rope then tightened it's grip and connection and then disappeared.

It was a amazing scene to watch and it felt like a godly being was observing them for a moment.

Leon was amazed at what he just saw but Liz was still same, he had already experienced this godly miracle once.

"The merging process is done, we should now collect the herbs, my Lord." Liz said to Leon while signaling him to follow.

"Okay..." Leon nodded and followed Liz.

After a few minutes, they arrived at a place that seemed heavenly to Leon.

"Woah... so beautiful, it's almost 10 times more beautiful that the Himgiri valley itself." He then looked at the map he had but there were no traces about this place on the map.

He understood that it must have been hidden from the outside world and only the Undead might have known about this place, that's why no one was able to find rare herbs easily.

He looked at all the herbs that were abundant in this heavenly area.

"What the hell!? T-these are all top class r-rare herbs!!" Leon felt like he was dreaming when he checked about the herbs in the book. Those herbs were abundant in this area and on top of that, they were all top grade rare herbs. Even only one of them could be sold for more than 4000 gold coins if auctioned.

"I can now become a rich person in a work of a few hours." Leon was on cloud nine right now.

"Well... You can't do that, lord." Liz interrupted his dream.

"Why?" Leon suddenly asked Liz for an answer.

"It's simple, These herbs are all Top grade herbs and many of these are even Epic grade, They can fetch for a lot, but just think about it, won't it be odd for a young 14 years old boy with no backing to get so many rare herbs from Himgiri valley?" Liz explained in detail.

"..." Rey didn't speak.

"And that may cause you to catch the attention of many big families and big powers, rich people will do anything to get more richer and richer." Liz continued.

"I understand now..." Leon said awkwardly, he was lost in his dreams of becoming rich that he didn't even think of the consequences if he did something like that.

"..." Liz nodded silently.

"So, I should only take 10 herbs at max so that no one will doubt it and I will be safe." Leon made the descision and told Liz about it.

"You can take 15 at max for now because it won't catch attention of the big powers." Liz nodded at him with telling him that he could take a little more.

"That also works I guess." Leon nodded and started to collect the herbs one by one."

After collecting 13 rare herbs, Leon headed back home as it was getting late and monsters mostly made their entrance at nighttime.

Liz had also merged with Leon's soul mark and his lhysical body dissapperead and only his soul was inside Leon.

He could still talk to Leon and even come out at the time of emergency.

After reaching home, he first visited the old man's shop to hand him the herbs along with 4 rare herbs as he was very thankful to the elder to give him a job. He knew that the elder had helped him out of kindness and pity for a poor young boy like him, that's why he had decided to give the elder 4 rare herbs along with 47 normal herbs which he had collected.

"Knock..." Leon knocked at the door of the shop and the elder opened the door after a moment.

"Who..." Just as the elder was about to say something, his voice got stuck in the middle.

"You have returned? Thank God!" The elder suddenly became very happy and showed a bright smile on his face that was genuine.

"Yes... I managed to survive the Himgiri valley and even made a fortune." Leon said to the Old elder.

"Fortune?" The elder was very confused about the word that Leon said.

"Yeah... but can we head in first?" Leon chuckled.

"Oh... Sorry, please sit inside, I will make make a tea for both of us." The elder was a little embarrassed of his actions on keping Leon waiting at the entrance.

"Thank you elder..." Leon thanked the elder and sat comfortably on the couch near him.

"No need to thank me... you are like my guest." The elder said to Leon and entered the kitchen afterwards.

After preparing the tea, the elder sat on the chair near the couch where Leon was sitting and put the tea on the table.

"Please have a sip..." The elder said to Rey while gesturing him to drink the tea.

The tea smelled very good and the smell of herbs was specially good.

Leon took a sip and his face turned as bright as sun.

"So good..." He looked at the elder and complimented him.

"Thank you..." The elder nodded at him while thanking him.

"Now, let's come to the main topic... How many herbs were you actually able to collect?" The elder asked with curiosity.

"I collected a total of 47 herbs..." Leon directly answered.

"Oh, it's a very good amount for a kid to collect." The elder complimented him this time.

"Bye the way, you said earlier that you made a fortune? what was it about?" The elder asked curiously again.

"About that..." Rey quickly took out a box from his backpack and opened the box lid to show its contents to the elder.

"These are the herbs I was able to the find while returning." Leon lied a little but everything wasn't meant to be told to everyone.

Although he believed the old man, he couldn't be too sure, right?
