Showbiz 25-Mandy's Idea

Gian could see that there was a big secret between Erica and her grandmother. He felt that Erica's grandmother could give him clues to the past. However, seeing that he was in a state of urgency because of the mission, Gian was forced to postpone it this time.

"I'm sorry if my question made you sad. I didn't mean to," Lux said politely, but the grandmother shook her head softly.

"I can understand. It's true what Erica said. I'm still lucky to have lived until now. So, let's enjoy a life that will end in some way," she said sounding wise, but pessimistic. Gian could only smile. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Just call me Mandy. You, Lux Osiris, right? Erica's a bad girl. She lied to me," added the grandmother which made Erica grimace.

"I apologize for being part of Erica's scenario, Mandy," Lux said with a stiff smile.

Mandy only laughed softly. She joined Lux and Erica for breakfast together. The two women saw that Lux only drank mineral water and fruit.

"Don't you like my bread, egg rolls and grilled meat?" asked Mandy which made Lux feel bad.

"I have a strict schedule in my routine, including food, especially for breakfast. Therefore, I would like to ask Erica to do me a favor and take me to the store we visited last night. There are some products I didn't have time to buy because I was in a hurry," Lux replied honestly.

"Oh, just say it. If it concerns the products of Emerald, I have them," Mandy replied to which Erica nodded.

"I also just remembered it last night before going to bed, Young Master Lux. Grandmother always gets a shipment of products from Emerald every month. Last month, coinciding with my father's birthday, the company sent special care products for men. However, since my father had already bought it for his personal use, grandmother still kept it," replied Erica which made Lux's face light up instantly.

"Can I see?" asked Lux curiously.

"Of course, let's come," said Mandy which made Gian excited.

They left the dining room to Mandy's room which overlooked the river. The view was marvelous, and the air was cool. Gian saw a painting in a frame attached to the wall.

"Yes, that's the wedding photo of me and my husband. Back then, it was real, but now it's turned into a painting. You know why," said Mandy, to which Gian nodded.

Erica could only remain silent without commenting. Gian thought of a plan for Mandy, and he had to be patient in order to carry it out.

"Well, here you go. A complete package of skin care products, vitamins, combs, and towels from the Emerald Group especially for men," said Mandy as she took out a parcel-like package from the closet.

"Yes, this is everything I need!" Lux exclaimed happily because there were supplements like the ones he was taking at that time.

"Take it, I don't mind. My son's birthday has already passed. Use it before it expires," Mandy said as he closed the closet door again.

"I'm very grateful, Mandy. With that said, I'd like to excuse myself. I'm used to taking care of my body before I go out. I'm really sorry for troubling you," Lux said reluctantly as he carried the parcel.

"Don't think too much about it. You're a noble and a public figure. It's appropriate to take care of your physique so that it's always perfect. Make yourself comfortable. We will continue our breakfast," said Mandy which Lux nodded with a big smile.

Gian rushed back to the room and this time closed the door. He immediately did his mission to avoid being punished. Gian deliberately set the time so that he wouldn't fall asleep while taking care of his body.

TING!

"What is it?" he muttered after swallowing the supplement. "Oh!" he squealed when all of a sudden, the mirror in front of him appeared a checkmark with an inscription on the side. "Ah, I see! The system tells me what I managed to do. This is great!" Gian exclaimed when he saw the checkmarks for supplements and nutritious breakfast.

The remaining time was visible on the digital clock that appeared on the mirror. Gian ignored the time setting on his phone because he thought the system's time count was more accurate. Gian rushed to take a shower using the products from the Emerald Group given by Mandy. Gian did it quickly because he didn't want to run out of time.

DING!

[Congratulations, Gian. You successfully completed your daily morning mission]

"Wow, it's really stressful, but I like it," he said after he did a light exercise of push-ups and sit-ups 10 times after taking a shower.

"I know. I'll do it starting from today. The target is 800 Lux Osiris fans. And don't forget, Z, you have to send the gift to my mom two days from now," Gian reminded.

Gian came out of the room immediately after he defecated. Gian wore his pajamas again because he didn't bring a change of clothes. Mandy and Erica greeted him at the dining table with warm smiles. Gian, who intended to involve Erica and Mandy to complete the mission, started doing his scenario.

"Erica, do you remember what I said last night about gathering Lux Osiris' fans to 1000 people?" Erica nodded slowly, but her index finger was raised as if to hint at something.

"If the host has allowed it, I can't refuse, Erica," Gian said, which was met with a smile and a nod by the young woman.

"So, tell me. Are you two up to something?" asked Mandy curiously.

Gian looked at the fair-skinned woman with completely bleached hair intently. "Honestly, Mandy. Actually, I should be asking you. Do... do you have any ideas so that the two of us can gather people to join Lux Osiris' fan group?"

Suddenly, Lux's question startled Erica and Mandy. The old woman smiled and then sat down firmly.

"You asked the right person. You must want to know my experience when I became a famous actress back then and was favored by many people," asked Mandy to which Lux nodded because it was true. "Alright. I have one idea."
