Class Rankings

I got out of the bed to looked around, so I could confirm my suspicion and I wasn't wrong, it was the same dorm, the same bed, desk, closet, everything. It was like I was in VR, but in my confusion I felt a vibration on my wrist. It seemed to be a watch, but it was way more advanced then anything I'd ever seen. However, I remembered the watches that got discarded for computer implants after the first tenth of the game. I looked at the watch, then clicked the notification, then, a hologram of a letter appeared.

Report to the auditorium within 30 minutes for the commencement ceremony, should you decide to skip this ceremony, Consequence's will take place.

I decided to get changed and then headed to the auditorium of the facility known as the Pinnacle. It was giant, the size of a city with every facility you could think of, unfortunately there was a barrier to entry. Money. Of course they did offer scholarships but those were few and far between. 

'How did I get in, in the first place, am I another student or am I myself, and if I'm another person then what happened to them. Are they even real. I mean this was a game, so its possible no one is, but how would they create this environment if it isn't real. Well, whatever, I can worry about this after the ceremony.' 

As I entered the auditorium I realized just how massive the building was thousands of seats, speakers everywhere, and a massive screen on the stage. I quickly found an open seat and waited, there were about 15 minutes until the start, so I waited a explored the room with my eyes. As I waited, I noticed a few notable characters enter, and soon thereafter, the ceremony started. It was pretty standard, but they did reveal our class rankings toward the end through our watches.

[Not Learned] This skill can be replaced at any time for one of 25 skills however, only 5 choices will be shown.

After looking at it I realized it was the same feature as the Awakening's Gacha Selection that occurs during character creation. The best 5 options would be Gravity Manipulation, Blood Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Perfect Control, or Void Manipulation, though Perfect control or Time Manipulation would be best. Perfect Control increased control of your body and massively boosted stats, while time gave ability to slow down your perception by 5x and rewind time by 1 second, though any of those five would be great.

Normally void only let you fold and expand space which could buy you time or close a distance instantly but creating pocket dimensions could be game changing, although blood manipulation was perfect for massive battles, void is to broken

'I also have a mastery, that'll be huge for the beginning phase as a decoy, but it isn't very strong. Most masteries go to 5 diamonds but a select few can go to 6 and 7, it's also first phase, so I only have a basic understanding of it. With masteries they have different phases they can reach, for instance the Shane Sword Arts can reach Phase 3, because they are in the 0-3 diamond range while diamonds 4-5 have five phases, 6 diamonds have seven phases, and 7 diamonds masteries don't have a limit because of their complexity.'

If things started flowing like they did in the game the first major event for the school will take place two weeks after the first day of school. It's a minor even that serves as an intro, but I still need to prepare. I guess the first order of business should be acquiring a new mastery.
