Breakfast~

We all sat down to eat.It was eerily quiet.The tension was too much to bear.I ate my breakfast in peace and resolved to get outside this room as soon as possible.

All the while,I noticed Lucas who kept on glancing at me but whenever I looked back he would gaze away.Omgg!!Why is he so cute?With chubby little cheeks and light blue hair,he looks just like an angel.

Reina ,Lucas mother was quiet for the most of the meal while the Duke let's just say didn't even glance at me.Oh by the by ,Let me introduce myself,my name is Leonard bec Quorlian.

After eating my breakfast,i stood up and told i would retire for the rest of the evening.The Duke nodded.

What Leonard didn't know was that the original Leonard would never have breakfast with Reina and Lucas.Since their marriage,he had avoided the breakfast altogether .And if he did come,it was for money or to make a fuss.So everyone was confused when they saw Leo eating in peace.

"That brat,i don't know what he is upto this time.Rihan.."

"Yes master"

"I will do my best" The Duke went on his way.But Lucas who always wanted to get close to his brother despite all the hurls and abuses thought maybe his brother has changed.Before his brother would always look at him with contempt and hatred but today it was different.It was as if he was another person altogether.No Lucas,don't hope much from him.

*LEO'S POV*

I walked back to my room to sort out my thoughts.First of all i should check wheather i am really in otherworld or not.I went to our family library and looked up the history books.The background and the history seems to match as that of the Otherworld.Otherworld is a story in which ,a boy who is from the modern world that is the 21st century gets summoned to this world through a ritual and but the ritual went wrong is what the priests believed.But in actuality,the ritual was successful.In the first few months he would be lonely but then he would make friends and become strong.He then decides to save the world but the twist in the story is that he couldn't save the world.Even after his friends gave up their life ,he couldn't.And the author thinks i could make a change.What a joke!

If the world's strongest hero couldn't then how could I?But i do have the knowledge of the future.Firstly let's focus on getting stronger otherwise i could never escape from my death flags.

Only a little detail of the original Leonard has been mentioned in the story.Why was such an insignificant person killed?Who would benefit from it?was it Reina , obviously Lucas is out of question.Or did Leonard found something?Nah that knucklehead couldn't.If so,then it maybe Duke himself because in the original the Duke was mentioned to not tolerate any signs of weakness.But he has put up with Leonard so much , Leonard must've done something which resulted in his death.

I must get stronger atleast as much as i need to protect myself from danger.

Otherworld is a world in which people awaken abilities like taming, necromancy,familiar ,healer.It is just like a game.The most powerful profession among all is swordsman not just an ordinary one but the ones who could use Aura.There are also mages, assassins.The Duke as of now is the strongest person on the continent that means he is the most powerful swordsman.While the Duke did try to teach Leonard but he didn't have the interest or the patience to do it.

Now, i have to awaken my abilities.Usually by the age of 12 all the children would've awakened their abilities but Leonard couldn't awaken his.But in the original there was a method to awaken forcibly but if not dealt carefully one could die.But either way,if I am not awakened i would die so Its better than to die in vain.

In the original this method was found by the hero , Gordon when he unexpectedly enters the cave of a man who was a researcher on awakeners.He was on the verge of his work being successful but it was never completed.But i know the method,I came across it while i was scrolling through the comments.I know it's risky but better than laying around doing nothing but getting killed.The method includes the Mana to be imbued forcefully, for that i need to have the blood of phoenix.Phoenix has been told to be extinct but they are some who have went into hiding.It wouldn't be easy to find them.But in the original,Gorden met with a phoenix baby in a cave who was injured.Maybe i could help the phoenix baby and win it's favour.Yeah let's do it.

It had already been evening by the time i went through whole of the books.I decided to retire for the day.I went back to my room with so many thoughts about avoiding the future i dread but along the way i fell asleep.

While Leo was asleep,Rihan came into his room and covered him in the blanket.

'Strange...very strange 'He thought.I should report this to the master he thought.The Duke listened to the report presented by Rihan.

'The young master spent his whole day in the library.Master maybe just maybe i think the winds are gonna change now'Hearing this ,the Duke feigned indifference but in his heart he also hoped so too.
