"Arthur i must say once again that your x-gene is really Fascinating" says a men injecting blood into me

"Nate can't we get this over with it's been 10 years and you still don't know my x-gene" i say looking at the man named nathaniel essex

"No can do art after all your my favorite subject" he said injecting with something else

That's right i'm in the marvel universe as a mutant. I've been in this world for 10 years waking up as a 10 year old child named Arthur white.After getting his memories i found out i was in a between the dc and marvel universe and was a science experiment for essex. I know this because both howard stark and thomas wayne were on tv alot

"Can i go back to my cell now"

"Sure thing, see you in the morning" he said calling guards to send me back

"Hey wait can you tell me about whats going on outside" i ask him

"Ah sure, well as you know Tony stark became iron man, and joined a group called the avengers, but another group has recently started fighting crime too called the justice league"

"Oh anything else?"

"Um an alien invasion that's it" he said

"Thanks and you know when i get out i'm going to kill you right"

"Yup so lets hope i'm immortal before then" he says leave me to the guards

"Mike how's the family?" I ask the guard

"Same old, same old but samantha just graduated and started working at Oscorp as a Scientist"

"Aw man that's great"

"Yep i'm proud of her"

"Mike just in case you didn't know but if i get out if here i won't kill you"

"Aww that's sweet" he said opening my cell

"See you Tomorrow" i say as he locked the door

"You know, your relationship with everyone here is super weird" asked the darkskin girl across from me

"Domino i've been here for 10 years of course i'm close with a couple of people" i reply

Yup the persom across from me is the lucky mutant domino, she was brought here when she was 14 and i was 11

"It's still weird" chimed in somebody else

"Storm your awake" i say looking at ororo

"Didn't i tell you to stop calling me that"

Yup even storm is here but in this universe she isn't an x-man and got captured when she was 10 and i was 12

"Why should i, it fits"

"Don't you ever shut up, just because you up doesn't mean other people are" asked a grumpy voice

"Magnet boy you've been up since i got don't lie" i say to erik

"Stop calling that and i woke up due to the door opening"

Erik lensherr or magneto is also here but this time he isn't a mass murder trying to kill off all humans

"He's right though all you do is talk" says another girl coming in

"Magik i thought you weren't talking to me ever again"

"I'm not i'm just telling you" she says going

back to talking with her puppet

"Why are you so calm, i mean i've never heard you scream, cry, yell, fight back, or even break down like the rest of us you Simply just take everything" asked erik

Now everyone was quiet and looking at me

"Well because i can leave here when ever i want" i reply

"Why don't you" asked domino

"Because i had nowhere to go, my parents are dead and i have no clue where we are"

"You said had does that mean you do now" asked ororo

I smirked at her question "good night guys"

I say dozing off

"Tch jackass" says erik

"Nate you've been injecting stuff into for an hour, you even filled the room with radiation cant we call it quits" i say lookimg at him

"Not until we find out what you power is" he said grabbing another syringe

"Oh i felt the one what was it" i ask interested

"Oh that it wasn't a x-gene just so blood from superman"

"Ah the man of steel" i say

"Yup"

After about a hour of injections i finally get enough

"Hey nate do ya really wanna know my power"

"Oh i didn't know you knew, if you knew couldn't we save all of this" he says

"I've known from the beginning but my powers are adapt,devour,evolve. You know what that means?"

"No please continue"

"It means my body adapts to every and anything, Devours it instantly and the upgrades it"

"Truly Fascinating"

"It really is, but guess what"

"What" he asked

"You've been injecting and exposing to hundreds of powers or radiation" a look of realization appeared on his face

"Guar-" he said before i grabbed his neck

"Nate i told i would kill you right" i said using my devour ability

"I was telling the truth" devouring his soul and powers i watched him slowy die

"Ahhh that's refreshing" i say looking at his corpse

"Now time for a badass rescue"

Boom the door blasted off

"Everyone wake up it's time to go" i say looking at the unmoved people

"Did you have to wake me i'm sure you could carry me" says domino

"Your lucky but not the lucky" i say

*alarm*

"Welp come on" i say ripping the doors off with telekinesis

Once everyone circled around i teleported us out of there *foosh*
