Resumen

Xiao Yan, high-school boy from Earth, got killed by a truck. Due to him firmly believing that being accidentally killed by a truck would send someone reincarnating in an other World, the God of Trucks decided to grant him his wish and sent him in his favorite World, Tales of Demons and Gods. —————————— I would like to write my own story. But I don’t have the skills for it, so I’m starting with this fan-fiction to train a little. Please, leave some reviews and comments on what you like, what you don’t like or what to do to improve myself, thanks. —————————— I won’t make an empty promise about a fixed number of chapters but it's the first time I write something, so don’t expect too much xD

Chapter 1001 - Reincarnate 1/3

->Glory City, Holy Orchid Institute, Fighter Apprentice class<-

It was a class meant for young cultivators, to teach them the basic knowledge of cultivation.

The teacher, Shen Xiu, was spouting nonsense in front of her class while two boys were being transmigrated in the back row without anyone noticing.

Both of them were fourteen years old. One was called Nie Li, a supreme expert who was killed by someone who called himself Sage Emperor and his six Deity Rank beasts. Thanks to an artifact called the Temporal Demon Spirit Book that he had on him, instead of dissipating, his mind went back in time to his first day of school.

The other one was called Xiao Yan, a high school boy from Earth who was killed by a truck. Due to him firmly believing that being accidentally killed by a truck would send someone reincarnating in an other World, the God of Trucks decided to grant him his wish and reincarnated him in his favorite World, Tales of Demons and Gods.

He also got to choose some cheat abilities that would help him in his new life, limited by his Karma Points, which he earned with each good deed he did in his previous life.

He chose a modified version of the Library of Heaven's Path, the ability to teleport himself anywhere he will be seeing from now on with his new body, a technique to cure someone and some knowledge of this new world that will help him to become really wealthy.

——————————————

Xiao Yan had a weird expression on his face.

It only took him a few seconds to know where he was, and he was more than sure as the memories of the previous host of his new body were merging with his.

"I really did get reincarnated, I wasn't dreaming when I saw the God of Trucks who looked like Optimus Prime…" he muttered to himself.

Who can blame him for thinking that he was dreaming? Any teenager would think the same if they saw a talking robot claiming to be a God!

While he did believe in reincarnation, he though that if he ever saw a God, it would be a formless light, or a dragon, or a voluptuous mature looking woman, or even a loli, everything but not the leader of the Autobots…

{Well, whatever, for now let's check my new abilities!}

{I'll try the teleportation later, first I'll check the Library Of Heaven's Path}

He looked at his teacher and yelled {Flaw!} internally.

A book with the title "Shen Xiu" appeared in the LoHP of his mind. Inside of it were included all the flaws of his teacher, starting from her Cultivation Technique and the Demon Spirit that were not suitable for her, to the technique that she has not perfected yet and so on. It's also able to compile the Cultivation Technique the most suitable for her, but only if he has enough books recorded in the LoHP, which is impossible for now because he just got reincarnated.

Originally, he would only be able to use the LoHP on someone who is using a technique or by touching someone who has lost consciousness, and the LoHP wouldn't be able to create a Cultivation Technique for someone else by itself.

But he chose to have the ability to generate Golden Pages of the original LoHP to be replaced by these new abilities.

{LoHP, ok!}

He then concentrated on two of his fingers, and shortly after his Soul Force gathered at the tip of them. He stopped just after confirming the technique he was using. It was called the Daoyin Technique, it was usually used for healing. He choose to learn this technique to be able to cure Xiao Ning'er who currently has the Arctic disease.

{Daoyin Technique, ok!}

Finally, he checked the remaining knowledge he asked for. First there was sixty uses of the Purple Haze Grass, a cheap herb that the people of Glory City only use as insect repellent. Xiao Yan was going to do exactly the same thing as Nie Li in the original story. First he would buy all the available grass on the market, then he would write a letter explaining the sixty uses to the Alchemist Association, and finally he would start to sell it when the price would be hundreds times more expensive. He also had the five pill formulas that Nie Li would trade with the Association in one month and also the three more of one month after that.

He just had to carefully remember when Nie Li would normally do all these businesses, to be sure to do it before him.

{Way to become rich, ok!}

He then looked back at what was happening in the class. Nie Li was starting to argue with Shen Xiu, telling her that she was wrong in telling people of Glory City were the only human beings alive in the world, comparing her to a frog in a well.

The reason why he has a so bad opinion of her family is because they betrayed the city in his past life, fleeing and thus letting the demon beasts enter the city. Oh, and also their young master Shen Yue was going to marry the girl he think he loves, Ye Ziyun. Maybe that is the most important thing for him to be against them right now.

One of the goals of his new life is to destroy that family, but Xiao Yan though that he was doing it the wrong way. For example, right now he was going to bet with the teacher that in the test in two months he would be at the bronze rank. If not, he would resign from school, but if he managed to do it, it would be Shen Xiu who would have to resign from school.

{What's the point of expelling her from school, aside from making noise?}

{Is he really a supreme expert with hundreds years of experience?}

{No matter how I look at it, he's just an arrogant brat…}

{A real supreme expert would lay low until he is strong enough to fight the whole family, or work in the shadow to destroy them}

I read nearly all of the TDG fanfics and in my point of view, this one is at the very least in the top 3. Pros: - There is no copy-pasting Finally an Author who when writing some events of the original (like Nie Li’s bet or the talk with Xiao Ning’er in the Training Grounds) didn’t simply copy-paste. Here he either made a summary or used his own words. - There are Butterfly effects The actions of the new MC do have some effects on his new world. I got tired of the fanfics who simply followed the original timeline as if they were clearing the stages of a game, not caring about how the past events should impact the new ones. - Character development Be it the MC or those close to him, they grow from the events and their personalities aren’t fixed. - Original and fun Be it the “face” of the God, the way the MC/his girlfriends deal with Shen Yue, or some of Xiao Yan’s shameless inner thoughts, I find all of it really refreshing. - The MC’s mother, Chen Yin You’ll understand when you read it :) Cons: - At the beginning, the MC gives cultivation techniques to some people (His parents, one uncle, Xiao Ning’er, her father, Ye Ziyun, 5 people from her family, 2 Elders of the Alchemist Association, Yang Xin and Gu Yan) He gave some more later, but at that time he can already defend himself against Legend Ranks so I won’t talk about it. I started reading this fanfic a few days after the start, and I can tell you that this was the most controversial choice of the author. Some readers found that it was stupid of the MC, wanting to enslave the people before trusting them. Personally, I don’t think that it’s a problem and I think that those who read “Library of Heaven’s Path” would think the same. That artifact allows the MC to see through anyone, if they weren’t trustworthy and were going to betray him, he would know it. And it’s not like some of those people were from the Dark Guild or the Sacred Family. Anyway, that was the thing that most complaints were about. - The relationships are rushed. The author said that it was a choice since he was writing for the first time, wanting to train his writing skills and didn’t want to put too much fillers. There might be more negative points for other people, but hey, it’s just a fanfic and the quality is even better than some premium novels. That’s enough for me to be a bit biased xD
