Wu Haoyu's POV:
Just before vanishing entirely into the shadows of the garage bay, I paused and cast one last look over my shoulder towards the tableau I was leaving behind. Liu Bin remained rooted in the spot where he'd been watching our entire confrontation unfold, an unreadable look smoldering in those raffish depths as he pointedly avoided meeting my piercing stare.
Typical of the fucker to suddenly play demure and above the fray once push came to explosive shove. Liu Bin always preferred to lurk on the outskirts, casually deriding and casting aspersions until someone else's fiery temper finally snapped and showered him with reflected glory.
As for Yanyan, she'd recovered some of her earlier bravado by the time my smoldering gaze settled over her lithe form again. The raven-haired vixen stood with one hip cocked in a provocative angle, arms folded and emerald eyes already glimmering with that signature feline challenge that made my blood burn hotter.
