Chapter 2 Sealing the Kyuubi

<Konoha Village>

<3rd POV>

As soon as the masked man saw that Jiraiya has arrived at the scene, he made a "Tch" and went into his pocket dimension.

<Jiraiya POV>

I made it just in time! Kushina is holding the nine tails still with her Adamantine Chains.

Having no time to waste, I jumped towards the Kyuubi and landed on it's head and without any delay,

'Chakra Absorption!'

I started draining away Nine tails Chakra rapidly into me and the size of the Kyuubi was simultaneously decreasing with the loss of chakra.

Within a few minutes, the Kyuubi was only left with one tails worth of chakra. I noticed that it is in a sufficiently weakened state to reseal and I shouted, " Minato! We need to reseal the Kyuubi and Kushina-chan also needs medical attention soon. Bring her and your son here quickly."

Minato probably realised what I wanted to do and said with a sad expression, " Sensei, you.... you are going to seal the Kyuubi inside Naruto.." to which I nodded and told him to be quick.

He teleported near Kushina, picked her and Naruto up and instantly reappeared again.

I passed on a huge amount of my chakra that I got from Nine tails and temporarily stabilized her condition.

I told her with all seriousness, " Kushina-chan, stop using the chakra chains, we can't let you weaken further. Minato will reseal the Kyubi in Naruto while I restrain it. After that we will tend to your health. It will be painful for a bit but stay with us."

She was sad that her child was going to experience the same fate as her but she nodded anyways because we have no alternatives.

Minato got my cue and started performing the Eight Trigrams Sealing Jutsu.

Ninetails, who has regained intelligence due to no longer being under the influence of Mangekyou, sensed that someone is trying to seal it again and shook vigorously while charging up a tailed beast bomb.

Seeing this, I stomped on it's head. Then,

" Sage Art : Rasengan! "

With this I was able to stop it before it fully charged the tailed beast bomb and in the meantime Minato also finished performing the Jutsu.

Kyuubi screamed and tried to resist but all was in vain as it got sealed inside Naruto.

Phew.... One disaster is solved. Now it is time to send Kushina to the only person who can heal her.

" Minato, Tsunade is in the Fubuki Town in the Land of Fire. You will probably find her in the gambling den or at the restaurant. Quickly take Kushina and go there. She is the best bet we got on healing her. I will make sure Naruto is safe until you two get back." I told the location of Tsunade to Minato and asked him to hurry.

He nodded grimly and used the Flying Thunder God Jutsu and teleported away in a flash.

I hope everything goes well. I already stabilized her chakra, only thing to worry about is the internal injuries she sustained.

I cancelled my sage mode and said to the elders Fukusaku and Shima, " Thank you Fukusaku-san and Shima-san. Without your help I would have likely lost my disciple, his family along with many other villagers today."

They both smiled and said, " You have matured Jiraiya-chan, by the way we sensed that after some training you will no longer need help from us to maintain the Sage mode. Also there were some changes in the sage mode you used today, even though they were not that big but still, they were there."

" Ok elders, I will meet you again after a while to discuss about this. Now I have to handle the aftermath." I said to them as I watched The Third approaching us with other ninjas following him.

They de-summoned themselves and I picked up Naruto in my hands while I waited for the Third, or should I say, my Sensei to arrive before me.

He stood before me and said, "Good to see that you back in the village when we need you the most, Jiraiya." He paused for a bit and asked, " so who was the assailant and where is Minato, Kushina and the Kyuubi?"

I looked at him for bit and said to the other nin nearby, " All of you disperse. I need to speak with Sensei alone."

" Well, straight to the topic eh? That's good though. The assailant is the masked guy who is an Uchiha and as for the Kyuubi...", I signaled him to look towards Naruto's stomach with my eyes.

He sighed 😔 and said, " So the Uchiha have finally rebelled huh.."

" No, you got it wrong Sensei. He was not someone from the village, atleast not the present members." I told him.

" Jiraiya, you seem to know his real identity?" He asked.

" Yes, I know who he is as well as what is his goal. But it isn't the time to go after him yet. " I said and continued, " Most importantly, shouldn't we first focus on the current situation of the village?"

He sighed again and ordered all the ninjas to perform a full scale rescue operation to see and save if there are any severe injuries or near death situations.

The emergency state of the village was lifted and many people were making their way back to their homes.

Some were crying at the loss of their loved ones, some were praying and thanking the God that their beloved ones are safe.

But still, the gloomy atmosphere in the village remained.

After taking my leave from the Third, I went towards Kakashi while carrying Naruto in my hands. Thankfully, he was still asleep.

Kakashi saw me and bowed slightly, " Jiraiya-san, Thank you very much for saving Sensei and his wife and the village."

I cheerfully said, " Yoo Kakashi, seems you are doing well and you are an Anbu now." and switched to a serious tone, " This is Naruto, your Sensei's child. Keep him safe. I will come back in an hour to pick him up." I handed him Naruto after saying that and Body Flickered away.

I am now on my way to the Uchiha Clan because they are the ones who are going to play a major role in my plan to defeat the Otsutsuki and there was also a certain someone or maybe two who I want to take as my disciples before they get strayed into the path of Will of Fire propaganda.
